I walked out of the room to enter the side door. She had herd us out of the building. What could have been a pleasant visit would have been ruined by this woman's rudeness. Our room was tidy and cozy. Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed seeing the host in the dining area. I paused during breakfast to admire the beautiful mansion's front door. When I was inspecting the intricate glass of the door, a woman came up and stood right beside me. My husband and I both felt that I was in her way. She appeared to be pulling us out of the building.

This is a lovely property, and a little kindness could be a great thing! There were no homes when we arrived, though they did show up shortly after we did. The woman who welcomed us couldn't locate the key and didn't know which room we were in. A gentleman arrived shortly after and found the key, and took us to our cabin. To be honest, neither of these people was very kind and acted like we were in the way, and neither was particularly welcoming. We had to inquire about breakfast and how to adjust the air conditioner. The room was roomy and had a small porch, which was pleasant. The doors were broken when we arrived for breakfast the next morning. The man arrived shortly after and prepared a delicious breakfast of eggs, sausage, and a biscuit. There were more visitors there on the second morning, and the brunch was served in time.

We were a group of friends with four couples staying in the four suites for a quick couples getaway. Before this would be my fourth visit, we had previously stayed. The suites were not ready, but they would be cleaned shortly. We were given the keys to the suites, but the cleaning lady was still cleaning. As we waited, we sat on the porch. After waiting 45 minutes on the porch in the hottest part of the day, she eventually finished one room. Everyone went into the clean room to soak up the air conditioning and wait for the other rooms to be finished. Only two rooms were clean at 5:45. My buddy and I went to the main house to see how much longer it would take to get in because checkin is technically between 3 and 6 and they have a cleaning person. She also said she would be mad and continued to say, I'm sorry there is nothing she could do about us not being able to check in. After explaining that she did not understand why we had to call to ensure check-in since check-in begins at rp, she said, get my husband and he can handle you. She said we could use the main house bathroom to change. I don't know how we will be taking a shower after sitting outside for almost an hour, but she was more calm than her wife. She then loudly stomped and yelle

I have been to Michabelles twice over the last 40 days. The first visit was a few weeks after hurricane ida hit, so I took much of a risk for the way things looked. And the terrible breakfast. 40 days later, it was no different. The location is extremely dingy. I know it is historic, so it provides a niche. But the lone thing they did was mowing the lawn. The entire landscaping is undergrown. The rooms are very outdated. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The locks are not secure, and that was in two different rooms for two different stays. They shouldnt label it a bed and breakfast because it was the same every day. Very overcooked scrambled eggs, hockey puck sausage patties, and very stale croissants. What a huge disappointment! If youre looking for a great place to stay, I advise driving 15 miles further and staying at the Anita Springs Hotel. After leaving in Michabelles, we went to the Anita Springs Hotel. Its charming, charming, wellmaintained, and very comfortable. Everything is well done here. And it costs the same. Compared to night and day, it is like night and day. Furthermore, they dont advertise as a bed and breakfast. Just a hotel. And an extremely lovely one. By the way, numerous great local restaurants are within
