My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Metropolitan. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was so comfortable, and I requested a room with a bathtub which was large and relaxing. It also came with coffee and oatmeal! We will definitely stay again.

This stylish, affordable, chic little hotel has become one of my partner and my favorite places to stay. Even though no one really works the front desk, the staff was very easy to message about extending our stay, twice, and my questions were answered promptly. For the price, this is definitely one of Long Beach's hidden gems and best kept secrets. In the 4 days that we stayed, we only saw or heard other guests MAYBE 3 or 4 times. Will most definitely stay here again whenever we need a little escape.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. We had a corner room so I dont know if all the rooms are that big or not, but I loved the kitchen and dining area, the bathtub was available by request, and it had a lovely chair and desk overlooking downtown Long Beach [3rd floor]. The bed was insanely comfortable, the 3 large windows let in tons of natural light, and my absolute favorite part was the two mirrored sliding closet doors that opened up to not only a large walk-in closet with plenty of shelves and drawers for your belongings, but it also had a lighted mirror vanity. It was so big it was like another room entirely! The price was great, the decor is very retro and chic, and since there's no front desk to check in with it almost feels like we had the place to ourselves. Will most definitely stay here in the future. Seriously one of the best hotels in the area for the price and the quality.

We had a great stay at the Metropolitan. Very comfortable and nicely appointed king room. The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early, holding our bags and calling us when the room was ready. I note that the front desk is not staffed and most of our interactions were by phone or text, but it was all seamless and easy. We would go back.

Once you figure out the parking, which I highly suggest going with what they offer, it's great. It's an older building but we'll maintained and within walking distance to everything we personally like to do while in Long Beach.

First off, the woman who manages was awesome, so kind and helpful at our arrival. I know there's not always a manager/staff on site, but lucky for us, she was. Walking into the room it smelled and looked CLEAN. Nice view of the city. Air conditioning worked great, as it was a warm day. Great parking garage a block away (for a fee, but well worth it. A car parked on the street near another hotel had their window bashed open). Lots of places to eat, had that awesome Long Beach downtown vibe all around us. Came to stay the night before our cruise the next day and we are definitely coming back in the future. Thank you Hotel Metropolitan!
