Wonderful stay! Bill was a wonderful host. He made sure we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. There were beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, a small styrofoam ice chest available for us to use in the room. There were also boogie boards, sand toys, and wagons available to use as well. The rooms were clean and they connected which provided plenty of space for our family of 5! Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Parent suite 3 is spacious and well maintained. It was plenty of room for a family with two teens. We could’ve brought a third, as there were three twin beds in the children’s room. There were no bugs or lizards in the room. I saw the Orkin guy making his rounds as we were headed out. Just thought I’d let you know if that kind of thing is important to you! (It is to me!) Bill was helpful and friendly. The area is walkable with plenty to do. You really don’t need to drive. If you do explore, Ft. Lauderdale is a quick 10 or 15 minute drive (depending on traffic) and Miami is about an hour and a half. We did both. I would stay here again longer! Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Bill at Le mer is very nice and helpful. The room was super clean. The hotel is close to the beach. Just across the street. A few blocks down there are multiple restaurants and bars to choose from. Lauderdale by the sea is a wonderful place to stay. This is my second year in a row coming here. Stayed 14 nights. Had a wonderful time. Fort lauderdale is very close and pompano beach is very close as well.

This is my favourite place to stay in Lauderdale by the sea. It’s safe, convenient, clean and the staff goes out of their way to help. I used to stay at a popular hotel down the road but ever since I discovered LaMer, I have always stayed there. You should too. You will love it and come back often.

The manager Bill was excellent- very on top of things! We were impressed with access to beach and that chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels were all included. The place could have been a little cleaner but nothing that we couldn’t fix by washing a few things. Would stay here again!

Tudo excelente! Check-in facilitado após horário! Limpeza dos cômodos impecável! Roupas de cama e banho limpas e com troca disponível a cada 3 dias! Cozinha funcional, com geladeira, fogão, micro-ondas, torradeira, cafeteira. Ao chegar tínhamos água gelada a nossa disposição, café solúvel, e também mimos como chips. Que nos ajudaram devido ao horario tarde que chegamos. Bill extremamente acessível, prestativo, educado e ao mesmo tempo discreto e respeitador! Lavanderia disponível com sabão a vontade. Piscina limpa! Local extremamente familar! Próximo a mercados, farmácias, bares e restaurantes!

The suite we stayed in was sparkling clean. The suite we had was perfect for my mom and I to be together but have our own space - we had our own separate queen beds and own bathrooms. Also it so nice to have 2 water bottles in the fridge so we didn’t have to run out to the store immediately for some right after traveling. It was great having access to beach towels and chairs to use as well as having the pool footsteps outside of our room. Location is on the main strip so it is walkable to everything you’d need! So close to everything yet felt safe with auto lights at night and locked door to get in the courtyard. Bill is super friendly and communicated with us seamlessly for check in and check out. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is truly a hidden gem—don’t underestimate it! I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this stay absolutely deserved one. From the moment we arrived, Bill made us feel so welcome. He is incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience. The rooms were spotless—seriously some of the cleanest accommodations I’ve stayed in. Everything was well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with what you need for a relaxing stay. And if there was ever anything missing, you could go to the office. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in how this place is run, and it really shows in both the service and the condition of the property. It’s quiet, comfortable, and just an overall great place to stay. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and stress-free stay.

Clean, bright, reasonably-priced home base to head to the beach or walk 2 blocks to the action downtown. Courtyard could use a little landscape TLC. But has everything you may need, and Bill is a few steps or a text away to help you procure it if not.
