The Queen rooms are super tiny. If you have any hiking gear, you'll be crowded. We were crowded with jist luggage. The Massage therapists were excellent!

We had a very small room and it was so lovely. Gorgeous bathroom, very comfortable bed. We used the beautiful hot tub in the spa…perfection. The hotel has a number of great amenities. Very well presented and centrally located.

We stayed here for two nights at the start of our trip and it was an excellent choice. We loved the location - walkable to so many things! The hotel was quant & gorgeous. We love staying at great boutique hotels and this was it! The roof top bar was excellent but so was the lobby hotel bar. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only thing to know before you book is the rooms are very small. Think NYC small. Not much room for luggage or anything really but the bed and two nightstands. But they had a ton of character and I think they did a great job with the space they had to work with. All in all I would recommend staying here - I know we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The lobby and bar area was beautiful, and my room was so cute! I got a tiny room and it was just right for a solo overnight stay. Toiletries were lovely and I got to use the spa area soaking tub as well. The location is so close to everything. The only drawback was the street parking, but I was able to find a close spot each time I parked.

The Lightwell hotel provided an excellent stay. Every staff member we interacted with were helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and had nice amenities. From the base camp to the bar, everything g was excellent. If you are planning to stay, the rooms were small, but very comfortable. When staying at the Lightwell, make sure to visit the rooftop terrace. Great views of the river!

AMAZING hotel!! I loved all of it. Room was sooo cozy. They thought of everything. A couple of things to consider: parking is on the street so be mindful of when your time expires. Also I got the “mini” room which was small and very cozy. But tiny! So go for the larger room if you need more space.

I stayed in a tiny king room. It was definitely small and would be perfect for a solo traveler. The room was immaculate and cozy. The hot soak tub and sauna were so nice to have available. Everything was within walking distance too. I will be back!

Perfect location in the heart of Hood River. A block from the train station and a short walk to waterfront. Very clean and chic hotel. Rooftop bar area was nice with beautiful river view. Rooms are tiny and thin walls (but they do provide ear plugs). Will plan to stay here again soon.

The style and design are amazing! Camping chic! They have a water bar next to the front desk with sparkling, ambient and chilled water on tap! One of the most unique hotel features I have ever seen in my world travels!

Excellent location and awesome amenities, cool vibe and perfect for those traveling without kids. Smallish and stylish rooms with everything you need and then some. The Lightwell will be my go to if visiting Hood River again. Stay here!
