Excellent customer service, when we got there the room was amazing but the a/c was broken in our room so the staff moved us to another room that was just as nice, the river view cant be beaten and the staff was very helpful

I recommend the motel. The property is a bit worn around the edges, it is quite an old motel. However, my room was clean and stocked with the usual - coffee maker, refrigerator, towels and wash cloths, the usual. What small interaction I had with staff at the check in, the person was helpful and had good information as to dinning options. Plenty of parking. The window air conditioner was new and worked well. I really enjoyed sitting out on the covered back porch with a view of the river. Cost was reasonable. Location half way between Bryson City and Cherokee. I would return.

The rooms were clean and welcoming. For an older hotel the place was great. The river view was amazing. We brought 2 dogs with us an they so sweet to our pets. Air worked well and staff was very friendly. I will be visiting again

I really enjoyed my stay at LLoyd's on the River. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff was easy to work with and even stayed up to accommodate my late arrival. Check in and check out was very easy. The room was quite and was in a beautiful location beside a wonderful trout stream. I plan to go back next year. Perfect for a fishing trip to the NC mountains.

Adorable place…. Very clean. We got there late and unfortunately, had to leave very early in the morning so we did not get to enjoy it very much but we will definitely go back someday when we can stay longer!

Second time staying after the GSMR excursion, rooms have been clean both times. Plenty of towels, only complaint is the property is a tad outdated but owners are so nice and very good for the price.

We love a place with character, charm, and hospitality. Lloyd’s did not disappoint. The property is right on the river and we enjoyed winding down and relaxing on the porch and at the fire pit area. The room was cozy and rustic with the feel of an “old timey” cabin. We were there in February and the water took a very long time to get hot but it did eventually get to bathing temperature. Check in was smooth and Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and available on the property. Location is convenient to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Sylva (our favorite) and many waterfalls, hiking trails, etc. We would definitely stay at Lloyd’s again.

Our ten pound dog was welcomed by attentive staff making check in easy. The motel is well worn and dated with smoking left overs outside. The heating was old but worked well and controlled well. The beds were very comfortable and the place quiet and dark.
