From reserving to checking out, the process was flawless. Our room was exactly as we had reserved, & was ready on time when we arrived. The desk staff were friendly & informative. Our room was spotless with a nice shower & plenty of hot water. The balcony was spacious & a great place to experience a quiet sunrise & sunset. The coffee available in the small lobby along with fruit & breakfast bars was enough for us. If you prefer full hot breakfast or fresh pastries this wouldn’t meet your needs, but for us it was plenty. The snack/forgotten necessities/gifts niche was small, but provided enough options & there are certainly larger shops for things you can’t get here! All in all our stay was relaxing, fun, & enjoyable, & we would highly recommend the Matterhorn Inn!

We had a wonderful stay at the Matterhorn Inn in Sedona and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our family chalet was beautful, huge, comfortable, charming, and the perfect place to relax after a day of amazing hikes. A special thank you to Heather, who was absolutely fabulous. She went above and beyond helping us find great hikes, local attractions, and things to do during our stay. Her recommendations made our trip even more memorable and helped us make the most of our time in Sedona. The entire front desk staff was also incredibly warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and excellent customer service made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We had the best time in Sedona, and the Matterhorn Inn was a big part of that experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel, and the family chalet to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and well-located place to stay.

Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. 5 mins walk to pink jeep in case you book an off-road tour with them. The room was very cleaned, check in was easy and the receptionist extremely helpful. I’d recommend it . Nice view as well, with balcony.

Room was a good size with a great view of surrounding red rock mountains. Very clean with modern fixtures and fittings. Very comfy bed, great shower. Ample parking very close to property and within very easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. We were initially worried about street noise but it was not an issue at all. We would stay again and have stayed at several other hotels in Sedona prior.

Honestly, we couldn't find a thing wrong with the room. It was super clean, and they remembered everything for a comfortable stay. If you want to be close for all the shops uptown the location is perfect. The view is gorgeous, and the only thing I would have changed is I would have stayed more than one night.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Sedona. Right in town, yet quiet and loved that everything was a quick walk from our room. Also, appreciated the pool and hot tub to stretch and relax after hikes. Easy place to park our car and walk right to our room. Clean and comfortable room and bed with a nice patio view of the mountains.

Nice clean and efficient hotel with great staff! Hot tub was nice and views were great! Good for a couple but if needed more space would rent a home through “I love Sedona”, a local company, as we usually do. But this was great for a quick trip with just two people! Really nice staff.

Location, location, location — this place truly is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. It ended up being one of the best stays I’ve ever had, especially since I always choose hotels that include breakfast. They served light snacks, a delicious breakfast, and the coffee was genuinely top‑tier. The hotel sits within easy walking distance of all the nearby stores, and the view was immaculate. It even rained during my stay, and enjoying breakfast with that view made the experience unforgettable. I’ll absolutely be staying here again.

Great location walking distance to all the shops. A lot of things to do in places to eat. Property is in very good condition. Parking is tight sometimes. Breakfast is barely anything just snacks. A better ice machine would be nice. It will fill a few cups. Not sufficient for a hotel more for a break room. I would stay here again.

Impressed by cleanliness and upkeep of property. Heather checked us in and was always busy cleaning and taking care of things. The on- the-go breakfast was perfect (coffee, granola bars, fruit). The bed and linens were comfortable. Impressed that they used Beekman products in the bathroom. The pool, hot tub, and firepit area were well maintained as well. 100% recommend!
