The rooms are spacious and lovely. As the hotel is older, it appears that it has just undergone renovations, but it appears to be contemporary. A microwave and refrigerator were both spotless and effective. The apartment was spotless. If you are inclined, which I was, the bath had a large tub that was simple to use. But, what was an extra, outstanding shower! Stunning water flow! There was a keri in the room. We are unsure of how that works because we had not used it. In the lobby, regular and decaf coffee is offered for the entire time. It was excellent. There was also a hot water dispenser as well as some tea. There were a few prewrapped eggs sandwiches in the continental breakfast, which included sweet bread but were warmened in the microwave and yogurt. They were excellent for making fresh sandwiches. It was an excellent way to start the day. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful, they helped make our stay enjoyable. When we are in the area, we will most certainly be back.

We chose to stay in this hotel while we were touring Harrisonburg. The outside appeared nice, which led us to believe it to be a good place to stay. Checking went smoothly, however, it was wrong. They claim this to be a smoke-free hotel, but from the smell, it seems like it changed a few days ago. After that, I took the stairs. The room was huge, and the air conditioning was on when I arrived. It smelled like mold and perfume, and after closer inspection, powdergranules were lying on the vents. When I turned it off, the scent of cigarette smoke was then dominant. The chair in the room was covered in dog hair. Pet owners have to pay an additional fee to cover any additional cleaning that may be required, but the owner obviously paid nothing. I can say that the bed was really comfy. When I checked out, I was told that somehow the payment wasnt completed even though I paid for my credit card. Evidently, the person who checked us in made the error because we were given keys and assumed it was all fine. The front desk clerk then proceeded to say that we could have left and they would not have received the payment and would therefore have to pay it themselves, giving us the impression that we were being charged for doing something shady. After talking with the clerk of the previous evening, I should have informed her that I have

We had a pleasant stay at the Quality Inn in Harrisonburg, Va. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had our dog with us and the quality inn is pet friendly. We thought the breakfast buffet was especially good. There was a wide selection of both hot and cold food. The hotel's location is just off the highway and close to many restaurants. Check in and out were quick. If we return to Harrisonburg, we will stay at this Quality Inn again.
