Perfectly located. Our room was on the 7th floor and was very clean and super comfortable. The staff was helpful. The lobby is a bit dated but it's a beach resort with sandy people so that is to be expected and a small trade for the amazing location.

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to make sure I wrote one about this hotel! It definitely is under the category of "you get what you paid for" in comparison to the area, but it really is an overall great hotel! The room was clean, it had everything you needed, the staff was SO kind, and the location is unbeatable. The breakfast doesn't have the most choices, but it was decent. The hotel could use some updating, but it was still clean and well maintained. The only thing I would change is that the room was humid, but it was nice and cold in there, especially for such a hot few days. I would absolutely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here 6 yrs ago and it was horrific. We decided to give it another chance since they claimed new management and remodeling. What a wonderful surprise! Staff was outstanding our room updated and clean. We will return again but I do suggest getting a room with a view of the lake.

For what it is and what you are paying this is a great hotel. The hotel is under renovation so the indoor pool and the bar area were closed but that wasn’t a big deal. The rooms were clean and updated. You are right in the heart of the town which is great. You can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. When they are done remodeling the hotel I think this will be a real gem. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to spend a few days in St Joseph.

The hotel has come a long way since it reopened, and the new owners are doing it right. We continue to be happy to stay at Silver Beach Hotel. The location is amazing. The free hotel parking is invaluable especially since St. Joe has implemented paid parking downtown. No worries if you stay at SB! You can walk everywhere. The rooms are just right for a summer trip. The staff is friendly and kind. Good place, good times, and a good value.
