Staff was very open about remodeling but it didnt affect us at all. Fun town to visit. Walking distance to downtown. Tap room, food trucks

From the outside, it looked very sketchy—the reason being it is under intense renovation and needs a paint job on the outside. The renovated rooms have good amenities, are spacious and clean. The manager Marisa was very accommodating and friendly. The motel ended up filling up and the parking lot was full. It is easy walking distance to a taphouse, food trucks, coffee houses and gift shops.

The Silver Spur is literally a landmark with new owners working at getting it back to it's former glory. It has personality that chain hotels cannot match.

Refurbished room: Excellent (Hotel is undergoing remodel/renovation, so not everything is done yet. That's understandable) Staff: Excellent * Would recommend a blind/shade on the window over the bed adjacent to the bathroom: Morning light couldn't be blocked out.

Perfect little spot! Cozy nice room! Beds comfy. They allow dogs! The lady that checked me in so very nice. Extremely happy with my stay there. I highly recommend it. The only thing I wished there was a grass spot for the dogs but that was all. I would definitely stay again!

The inside is immaculate and shows the pride that is going into restoring the facility to better than new. That said, the outside has the charm that makes it worth restoring and is a work in progress.

This property is being remodeled BUT I can see there is great planning in the changes being made. I really like what has been done so far. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the coffee in the room. Marissa, at the front desk, was very kind and helpful. I made a mistake on the date I booked and she accepted that payment for our nights stay She didn't have to do that but I was very blest that she did. I highly recommend Silver Spur motel. The parking was close to our room and I could see our truck out the window

For a motel in reconstruction, it was a pleasure staying there. Quiet and accessible at all times. The staff were full of information on the area. Very pleasant place to stay. Yes, we would stay there again.
