Top-notch all around; everything was clean , updated or remodeled. Very nice place to stay, and we will be back again. Enjoyed the musicians at the restaurant along with the food and service. a couple minor things like temperature in our cabin and bed pillows, but that's us—a good value and close to town if you need to go there for something. We enjoyed our stay and two thumbs up.

We had an amazing time there was a lot of things/activities to do, keep the kids busy and away from their phones. Very clean, friendy staff and I love that's it's pet friendly. It's really a nice place to relax if you want some quiet time away from the city. My only concerns were the bunk beds (top) does not have railings which is not safe for kids and I believe they're offering like a day pass or open for people whose not staying in the property to get access of all the amenities so it gets really crowded specially during weekends/holidays. Overall all we had fun definitely coming back.

We stayed a three bedroom two bath cabin. It had a huge living room and dining room table. It also features a front and a back patio. The master bathroom had a tub and a separate walk in shower. This was a perfect size for groups. Kitchen has no stove or oven, but it does have a 3/4 refrigerator with freezer, microwave, drip coffee maker, cups, bowls, and silverware. We ate dinner at the restaurant and there was live music on Thursday.

great place to bring pets - poolside cabin with decks helped a lo t for little dog. Cabin showers are def too small for larger guests but overall cabin was very nicely stocked, clean and very comfortable. Very nice walking paths and the Peaks restaurant (yummy!) is awesome. Vey much loved this place (we live in Ranch Mirage) will DEFINATELY stay here again soon. Pool was very clean, could be heated/warmed a bit more after chilly May nights. Awesome fire pits! -- overall scene vibe was a BIG thumbs up. Will only stay here in Idyllwyld - no place can compare.

I spent a single night at this resort so that I could get an early start on a hike to Tahquitz Peak. I didn't have high expectations for accommodations in a small town like Idyllwild so I was pleasantly surprised by the Tahquitz Pines Retreat. The rooms were comfortable and the campus was well laid out. I especially enjoyed the restaurant and bar onsite which had really good food and a surprisingly large menu. Should I come back to the area, I would stay here again.

What a great recently renovated resort tucked away in the pine trees just a short drive to town. With the on-site restaurant/bar, large pool, and outdoor sports facilities you really don't need to leave the property. There are several different room types from hotel-style rooms to cabins. Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.
