First of all, the shower was perfect!! Great water pressure and a rain head shower head. The staff was extra friendly from check in to check out. We received 2 bottles of wine for being expedia vip members. Thank you for a great stay!!

Check-in was welcoming, easy and, we were given a lot of helpful information and local food recommendations. The airline left our luggage at our departure airport and the hotel staff was really helpful at making sure we had all the information we needed and got our bag when it was delivered. We were back for a college reunion and know Boston well but not the immediate area so it was helpful to get info on coffee and breakfast places. It was incredibly easy to get to the green, orange, and red line. Our room was quiet, clean, and the steam shower was so nice during a cold rainy weekend visit. We wish we could have made greater use of the amenities but the Godfrey will be at the top of our list for future visits so I’m sure we’ll be able to enjoy more of the hotel next time.

This was, by far, the best hotel experience I’ve had in over a decade. I’m not a frequent visitor to this hotel, but that didn’t matter - they treated me and my family like their own. It was incredible. I can’t say enough nice things about the property or the staff. But the real gem of the place is the staff.

Excellent location if you are truly going to be a tourist in Boston. Easy to get to absolutely everything including Beacon Hill and the north end. Modern, well appointed lobby and rooms, clean. You’re able to launch your apps onto the TV… Something I just learned to do so that was exciting.. Dormin and Bell boys greeted you at the door all day long. Incredibly friendly staff. Attached to a coffee shop/pastry shop, which was certainly nice in the morning. Highly recommend!

Rooms were very clean and Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Staff would go out of their way to assist you. I asked for a late checkout, but it was not available, however, they will hold your baggage in a secure area until you're ready to leave. I brought a suit, but there was no iron available, only a steamer in the room. I did not ask if an iron was available and had to learn crash course style how to use a steamer. It's possible they have them and I just did not think to ask. Only problem with my room was there was no dresser, or drawers, to place clothes. Overall, though, excellent experience and I would go back again!

This hotel is located only 2 blocks from the starting point of the Freedom Trail in the Boston Common. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, everything was clean and well cared for, and our room had been renovated recently. We stayed for 4 nights, and would definitely stay again!
