This Hotel is my second home in NYC, we just love it. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made me feel valued throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Tati

This hotel is very well run, cleaned and maintained. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Location is incredible for access to Central Park or west side greenway. For those that say it’s “tired” I say more it’s nostalgically furnished, the small touches like doorman, robes, good bathroom product, great linens all made this a special NY throwback experience. Goes to show a personal touch trumps the modern aesthetics in the box hotels.

The Lucerne is a wonderful hotel on the Upper West Side. The location is wonderful-just blocks from Central Park and the Natural History Museum. There are so many great restaurants including the one next to the hotel, Nice Matin. As with most NYC hotels, the rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable. Everything worked well. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel is great for families. I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed 7/8/26-7/14/26 at The Lucerne Hotel and absolutely loved our stay. The moment we walked in the staff was so friendly. Our room was very clean. And the hotel was very peaceful and quiet. We had a window room and loved waking up to the view. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay there. 10/10.

The Lucerne is a lovely hotel in a great location on the upper west side. Only 1 block east of the 79th St station on Broadway for easy subway access up or downtown and just a few blocks west of Museum of Natural History and Central Park. I'd stay there again!

This was a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms, especially for NYC. Everything worked well and the staff were all very helpful. A small complaint is that the adjacent restaurant, where we got a 15% discount for breakfast, did not open till 8:00, and I had a meeting starting then.

Great staff. Excellent location. Fantastic restaurant downstairs. Room perfectly serviced every day. Limited parking, recommend taking a car, cab or public transport.

The hotel is a gem in the City! Beautifully maintained in the elegant style of 100 years ago...comfortable, quiet and fun. All of the staff were excellent - helpful and friendly.

We thought the Upper West side location might have ended up feeling like a bit far to travel each day into Times Square, down and mid town where lots of the attractions are but it was worth it to come home to a much quieter location surrounded by excellent food options for all times of the day. The staff here were awesome, it’s an older building but it was clean and well looked after. I would certainly stay here again, we felt at home.

First time staying here and first time staying in the Upper West Side. Definitely will be returning. Upon checking in, we were greeted by Debra. She made us feel welcome and was very friendly. We showed up 3 hours prior to our check-in time and she was very accommodating.

Unique feature is the awesome location. 79th and Amsterdam on the Upper West Side is at the heart of a vibrant and pleasant restaurant area, plus very convenient to Central Park and the subway lines to anywhere in NYC. Hotel was clean, comfortable, stylish and the staff were all great.
