Very spacious rooms and nicely decorated. Loved the complimentary breakfast and the 24 hour coffee station. Easy walking distance from shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel with my husband in June. It is perfectly located to experience all Bar Harbor has to offer while still being quiet and secluded for some good rest at night. The breakfast options were all fabulous and the innkeeper informed us of live music at a sister property which was the perfect start to our evenings!

We stayed at Pathmaker for 4 nights and had a great time in bar harbor. This hotel is new and very clean. Cleaning service did a wonderful job. Front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast is of the best quality that I have seen in a hotel so far. Overall I would highly recommend this place to families.

The hotel is located right in Bar Harbor, just a very short walk to the town center. Since most hotels in Maine tend to be quite old, this property was a wonderful surprise—it’s relatively new, and the rooms are both spacious and clean. They also provide complimentary breakfast, which was actually quite good. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Pathmaker was perfection! The property is beautiful and centrally located. A quick walk to the downtown area and a 3 min drive to Acadia. The breakfast that was included each morning was delicious (especially the muffins)! There was coffee available in the lobby 24/7 and delicious cookies available in the afternoons! The staff was both friendly and helpful! If you are traveling to Bar Harbor, you won’t find a more welcoming place to stay

First of all, Laura at the front desk was an absolute gem!!! When we checked in, she made sure we parked in the appropriate spot so we didn't get a citation. There is a lot of city parking for travelers all over the town and next to the hotel. That was a big help. She also had housekeeping dry my clothes as my suitcase got rained on at the airport. What a lovely gesture. The breakfast each morning was so tasty and great coffee. The set menu had a variety of items sure to satisfy anyone. You were also given a muffin to start that was moist and delicious! The hallways and our room always smelled fresh. We opted out of housekeeping during our stay, but even still the room remained fresh smelling. We really loved the location and all the amenities and would definitely stay there again. This is a small property, which we loved.

2nd time here so we like it. You can beat the location. We used to stay at the resort on wwst St but got tired of the noise and children running up and down the hallways. The hotel is super clean and the beds are super comfy. They serve a lovely complimentary breakfast. Dinner is comfort food standards but having the restaurant in house is convenient. Dinner is ok but do is most of the dining in Bar Harbor.

This is a great place in Bar Harbor. Hotel is very clean and conveniently within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Staff was super friendly, and the onsite restaurant was very good. Included breakfast with our stay was top notch, would definitely stay here again.

Great 4-night stay at the Pathmaker Hotel! The room was huge and clean and I loved the furnishings and toiletries. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and the service was fast & friendly - lots of great options and the muffins included each day were wonderful. Parking was easy and plentiful with a garage under the hotel and additional parking across the street. We tried to go to dinner one night at the hotel restaurant but there was no host/hostess to be found for about 5-10 minutes so we went elsewhere (the French restaurant across the streak is fabulous!) Otherwise it was a great stay and we would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pathmaker Hotel. A delicious breakfast was included each day. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to downtown. It is right down the street from the Sand bar path as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!
