This place is not a bad place to stay because of the price. The price is inexpensive. If you need to go away for the day, this is the place to go. No bugs. The bathroom was a bit dirty. But overall the place was not too terrible.

I had heard horror stories about this place, but I decided to go here anyway. What a difference a renovation makes! The price is excellent. The rooms are large and very clean. A king size bed and nearly new furniture were provided. There is plenty of luggage space and enough seating for a pair of love birds or a group of friends. The bathroom is well done and spotless. Room service constantly changes towels and vacuums. The to is a little small and the cable is spotty but if there was a hbo what could I complain? The best part is peace and quiet. Route 10s road noise is minimal, and the other tenants are quiet. Parking is ample and welllit. The lobby looks like an early inpatient hospital intake ward from the outside, but the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. Again, the price of the place is quite unbeatable. There are surely better hotels nearby, but if you are on a budget and need a place to stay for a few nights, the Tomas Motor Lodge is your option.

Checkin was supposed to be after 3 PM when I arrived at the hotel around 345 p. M. When I was informed that only a few rooms were available on hotels. Com, this may be a way hotels. Com arranges additional rooms. I attempted the side door, which was locked. The door near the front was also locked. The front desk was playing a to while the lights were on. I was waiting for a couple of minutes, and someone came around. She apologized profusely when she exited within a minute. It was simple to check in. The key was a real key, not a key card, but I received it back at checkout. The foyer and hallways both had air conditioning. It was a large room with a kingsize bed. The air conditioner wasnt on when I entered, but the room wasnt too hot and cooled off rapidly as I switched on the air. It was recently vacuumed. There were two entrances, one in the interior hallway and one outside. There was no clock, hotel information, or do not disturb stipulations. Although it was tough, the bed appeared tidy. Depends on your preferences. I had a bus from Pittsburgh to New York and a train to Morris Plains, so there wasnt any cars. They did a fantastic job, very thorough. After the first night,

The hotel room was decent the girl behind the counter was cute and nice I just didn't like the fact that you have to pay extra $10 or rather give it $10 deposit in order to get a key otherwise you have to keep going to the front desk and waiting for them to get to your room to let you in

Room was clean. I was there to get some rest and left fist thing in the morning. Only thing I didn't like the smoke smell in the hall (is supposed to be a non smoking hotel). I'll recommend it.

At first it looked like a dump but when we complained they gave us a new room that just got renavated and it was great king size bed microwave , fridge and flat screen tv I suggest u ask 4 room 34

Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. This is a "last resort" kind of place. as a road traveler - there was no availability across 2 states - until we found this place. It was functional - but not a destination. I think it serves as temporary housing. Needs a reno, badly. But - it was quiet, the AC worked - and we got to sleep for a few hours before returning to our trip.

The motor lodge is an older establishment that has not been updated. The decor is original to the structure, paint is very old, fixtures are original & showing wear. The door to the exterior was of questionable integrity,as was the “deadbolt.” I used a chair to avoid intrusion by a mistaken visitor. It looks as if someone had kicked it all in previously. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean. The rooms are so large, they could easily add a kitchenette and barely have to move the beds. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, and you aren’t hung up for on appearance, this is an okay choice. Bring your own soap, they do not provide any. Consider bringing your own toilet paper, the stuff they provide is like John Wayne. Rough, tough & doesn’t take s**t off anyone. When I revisit the area, I might stay here again, as long as I’m alone. My family would probably not enter at all. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, always a plus.

I thought it'd be nicer because of the pictures I did get in a conomy room because hotels near there you can get really expensive and I was only going to be there for 8 hours sleep no refrigerator no Wi-Fi. No updates and I don't watch TV but it was bigger than some other TVs.

Exterior looks like it's a dive, but inside was clean and room was comfortable. It's older (uses an actual key instead of swipe card), but a good dea if you're trying to save a few bucks.

I couldn't sleep because of the flimsy locks on the doors including home made deadbolts. Also, the bad weather complicated our stay since the parking area required further snow removal.
