It was our 1st time at The Wanna Wanna Bar & Grill suite , indefinitely, graciously enjoyed our stay, it was such a great blessing to be and stay at South PadreWanna wanna beach - ( Alejandra ) had a room and was so very nice and as checking out we didn’t want to leave but again will be back for next year July 4, 2027, Alexa was amazing. I went 52 minutes over checkout time rushing out to visit Pastor San Juan. And we’re getting ready at Alexa was so nice. Did not charge me my late rate for anywhere else they would have charged me. I recommend highly recommend Wanna wanna beach to everyone and also we got to enjoy the ceviche the hamburgers and the music was so very awesome. I will never forget the band that played there on Fourth of July July., I pray that that must be out there again for next year. The beach was so awesome and everyone was so friendly and nice. We loved it and again to everyone everything was so clean the room so beautiful the beds were so comfortable. , did not have to leave the property. Also enjoyed the fireworks on the backyard of the hotel just the way it is advertise. Beach is in the backyard., definitely will be out here again next year, and the name of Jesus 🙏🙏🙏 thank you ( Alejandra ) for all your friendliness when I vote Hotel and Alexa as I checked out, y’all are wonderful and amazing.. We love y’all and pray you continue getting business. Y’all are so awesome. I rate The wanna wanna Beach to Bar And Grill Suite way over a 10 -

What more can you ask... clean rooms, real coffee w/pot in room(i need coffee lol), live music, beach front, I can keep going. We enjoyed the vibe so much we booked for the following week!

The room was very clean and also had a mini fridge with top freezer. It was very useful to keep my bag of ice for the next outing. It also has a coffee maker with coffee mugs and silverware. Just bring your creamer of choice. I enjoyed my stay at wanna wanna. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wanna Wanna Inn. We traveled with dogs and there was no problem getting accommodated. Yes there was a $15 dollar a night pet fee per dog. But you can't get around that. The staff was very friendly and took care of everything. The room was very nice and very clean. It has a window unit for A/C but kept everything nice and cool. A little kitchenette was also available in our room. The only thing the room lacked was a dresser for clothes but there was a clothes rack with hangers. Our room had beach views from all windows which was nice. Outside of our door to the room were two chairs so we could even hang out on the community patio. The Wanna Wanna Inn does not provide breakfast, so we packed bread and lunchmeats, lunch we usually ate at the bar and grill. Food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. The hotel is located next to a public beach access so you do have A LOT of passing through folk and folk who want to eat and drink at the bar & grill. Parking is available for Hotel guest you just get a placard at check in. There is live music at times, I think depending where your room is it may get a little loud we were at the end and our window unit drowned out the noise from the music. All in all it was a very pleasant stay right on the beach. Unfortunately though the loungers and sun umbrellas are separate and have to be rented by an independent company, which kinda stinks but it is what it is! Thank goodness we had our own chairs and sun shades.

The location (100 yards from the water) and the incredibly accomodating and friendly staff are what keeps me coming back year after year. The bar & grill offer some basic fried fare, but there are a dozen restaurants within a short drive if that's not your thing.
