Second time staying here. It’s a block from The Inn at Little Washington, and a far more reasonably-priced accommodation if you are dining there. James, the property manager, was terrific, both with confirming our reservation in advance, and providing a warm welcome upon our arrival. Coffee, tea, sodas and snacks are available at all hours. Our room was super clean and cozy, with thoughtful touches like terry robes, 2 suitcase racks, and nice Moulton Brown amenities in the bathroom. The very comfortable king bed had crisp white linens and a wonderful duvet. The lovely breakfast included a fruit and granola yogurt parfait followed by a delicious slice of quiche — perfect after our big meal at the Inn the night before. I highly recommend this property!!

Excellent, beautiful place to stay. It was my girlfriend's 50th birthday so I wanted to gift her dinner at The Inn at Little Washington. Traveling there isn't quick and after a big meal, driving 2 hours back home was not a fun prospect so I wanted to stay nearby. Considering the prices for The Inn were more than double that of White Moose, the decision was easy. White Moose tried to match the fine dining and concierge experience of The Inn and they did extremely well. The breakfast was tasty, the manager was incredibly nice, helpful and chatty, and the wine hour (fancy) consisted of some tasty wine and a very nice rye from local merchants. If you are coming for dinner and want to stay overnight without breaking the bank, this place is your best bet.

Great staff, nice (on the small side) breakfast. Fridge in our villa was very noisy and the room smelled a bit musty otherwise we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely return

The property was uniquely superb, from the manager greeting us in the parking lot after we pulled in, to the customized details of the property itself, and using breakfast brought to our room was also a very nice touch, can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful room, with a huge, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The check-in was very quick as we had dinner reservations at the nearby (1-block walk) Inn at Little Washington. The breakfast space was warm and welcoming, with a fruit and granola parfait, followed by a tasty quiche. The White Moose Inn hit all the high points and certainly will be a repeat reservation for a future trip!

Our stay at the White Moose Inn was fantastic. Barb and the team were so hospitable. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and cozier stay. The accommodations were great. Highly recommend staying here - you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the White Moose Inn! The drive to the Inn was beautiful, and Barb was very welcoming! She checked us in and gave a brief history of the Inn. We enjoyed happy hour, taking in a few beverages with an amazing view of the mountains out back. We stayed in the Cottage, and it was perfect. It was spotless, well appointed, comfy bed, and everything was put perfectly in its place. We dined at Patty O’s, which was a very short 4 minute walk. Breakfast was right on time and delicious! We will definitely try and make it back, hopefully in the fall when it would be even more scenic!
