The hotel is situated just outside the Gran Cabana, in one of the safer areas of Maracas. The staff is very helpful, the room I was given was large, clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was quite large too. Although the hotel definitely shows an age since its opening, it is well-maintained and I thought it was appropriate for a Mirage hotel. Breakfast was a bit basic but it was a good breakfast. There is a guardian national checkpoint just between the hotel and the Gran Cabana, but they never stopped me, and I had no trouble walking around.

The location is good, close to the Plaza Grande Boulevard and the Chacaito Metro Station, along with the shopping centres. The rooms are modern, tidy, and warm. The food here was delicious. Staff is also very helpful, but the english is not very good. I recommend you ask the staff to help you, off the record and off the premises.

All in all, I was very satisfied with the hotel. The mini fridge didn't work and my to remote did not work, but I would still give the hotel a good grade. I stayed in the hotel from July to July 2012. It was a really nice hotel. It has all the basics, clean, spacious, and reasonably good furniture. I was traveling with my boyfriend and saw their room. Both rooms were nice. The price was reasonable given the higher price advertised. The staff was uniformed, professional, helpful, and courteous. Security at the front door. Nice looking lobby and nicely furnished. The restaurant is on the mezzanine level. The buffet breakfast was very good and adequate. Ive seen larger breakfast spreads in larger hotels, but this was very adequate. The bar is also on the mezzanine level, but I didn't use it. The hotel is in a commercial area, but that wasn't a negative. A coffee shop on the same block and many small stores, including a pharmacy, are just one block away from the hotel. There is a great food court in the basement, with a wide variety of foods. The burger king sign outside will direct you to the food court. My donald is across the plaza. A metro station is below the plaza.

This hotel is really O.K. Friendly, helpful people at reception. Big, comfortable room with many drawers and big wardrobe. Excellent cleaning. The only thing that was far below the level it should be, was the breakfast.

La atención fue buena por parte del personal, sin embargo es necesario habilitar la puerta de entrada ELECTRONICAMENTE o tener personal disponible para abrir la puerta cuando llegue el huésped, toda vez que es incomodo llegar uno con las maletas y no encontrar quien las reciba. Por lo demás muy bueno

Pleasantly surprised at the condition of the lobby and our room. The staff at check in actually spoke English. Not so elsewhere in the country! No Internet in the room. Had to sit in the lobby to get connected. No pool unfortunately.

O Hotel é antigo, mas está conservado. Passamos apenas uma noite. A cama é boa, o banheiro tb, mas a banheira é antiga e a cortina é de plástico. Não há bebidas no frigobar, tem que ir buscar água e gelo no 6o. andar. O quarto é antigo, mas limpo. Para passar uma noite, está bom. O café da manhã é bem simples. Não há restaurantes próximos. O local é esquisito para sair a noite. Do aeroporto ao hotel, pagamos U$ 40,00 de táxi.
