Anora de Van Residences: A Sanctuary of Absolute Stillness in the Heart of Historic Hanoi

The Concept of Slow Living Welcome to Anora de Van, a quiet boutique residence hidden away in the historic Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) neighborhood, where the chaotic energy of Hanoi gently slows down and fades away the moment you step through our doors. In this historic corner of the capital, houses stand close to the bustling streets, yet life inside Anora de Van remains surprisingly still. Our space is carefully enclosed, heavily insulated, and intentionally designed as a quiet sanctuary. It is completely protected from the relentless traffic noise, street vendors, and the restless rhythm of the nearby Old Quarter.

This is not just a standard hotel room made for passing through. It is a thoughtfully prepared haven designed specifically for couples seeking a romantic escape, creative minds looking for inspiration, and discerning business travelers who deeply value silence, privacy, and an authentic sense of place. For 24 hours — or much longer — you do not simply visit Hanoi. You retreat from it, gently.

Architectural Harmony & Design Anora de Van is an elegant Indochine-inspired residence located just a short walk from the iconic Temple of Literature. The architecture beautifully combines traditional, timeless materials—such as rich local woods, classic patterned tiles, and warm lighting—with modern, upscale comfort. Every corner of the property is crafted for guests who appreciate fine details, nostalgic charm, and contemporary functionality.

Your suite is uniquely located on the ground floor. Because it does not feature an exterior window facing the street, it stands as one of the quietest and most peaceful rooms in the entire house. Here, there are no motorbikes rushing by, no morning market noise, and no early-morning street calls. The atmosphere is intentionally warm, cozy, and private rather than bright and distracting. It is a space dedicated to reading, resting, working without interruption, or simply mastering the art of doing nothing at all.

The Luxury of Private Relaxation The bedroom and bathroom areas are completely private, offering a seamless flow of comfort. The stone-tiled bathroom is a highlight of the suite, featuring a powerful modern rain shower and a completely separate, deep-soaking premium bathtub. Clean, dry, and exceptionally well-ventilated, this bathroom eliminates the dampness and humidity so often found in older Hanoi buildings.

To make your stay even more memorable, we welcome you with complimentary in-room amenities, including finely selected tea, premium coffee, and refreshing bottled mineral water. Let the world outside spin at its usual frantic pace while you immerse yourself in the deep, undisturbed peace of Anora de Van.
