Visiting the city of Bandung from the city center with a travel time of only around 30 minutes sounds impossible. However, this can be realized by using the Indonesia China High Speed Train (KCIC), or known as Whoosh.
 

 

If you want to save time while traveling, you can choose KCIC as your mode of transportation with a total travel time from Jakarta to Bandung (Padalarang) of 30 minutes and to Tegalluar Summarecon of 47 minutes. 

You don't need to worry about accessing public transportation at KCIC Halim Station, because it is integrated with the Jabodebek LRT, so your journey becomes even easier.
 

 

Feeder Train

You can continue your journey to KAI Bandung Station from KCIC Padalarang Station using the connected transportation service, which is the Feeder Train. 

This service can be enjoyed for free, by showing proof of purchasing a Whoosh ticket to the officer. You are advised to arrive 30 minutes early, to avoid delays and the feeder train doors closing 5 minutes before departure.

Terms and Conditions
Pre-Departure:

1. Online purchases can be made through the tiket.com website and app from 14 days before departure up to 30 minutes before departure time.
2. Please prepare a valid identification card (KTP/Passport) for the passenger.

 

Baggage Policy:

1. Passengers are allowed to bring carry-on luggage with a maximum dimension of 100 cm x 30 cm x 40 cm or a total maximum weight of 20 kg without additional charges.
2. Items exceeding the free allowance will incur an additional charge of 5% of the ticket fare per kilogram.
3. Excess baggage fees must be paid at the departure station.
4. Special Items Allowed:
   a. Manual wheelchairs
   b. Baby strollers
   c. Walking aids
   d. Up to 2 regular lighters
   e. Nail polish, nail polish remover, and hair dye (max 20 ml each)
   f. Aerosol sprays (max 120 ml)
5. Bicycle Policy:
   a. Only foldable bicycles are allowed in the cabin
   b. Maximum weight of 20 kg
   c. Maximum wheel diameter: 22 inches
   d. Must not pose any risk of damage to the train facilities
   e. Non-foldable bicycles are strictly prohibited in passenger cabins and dining cars. This restriction applies to fully assembled non-foldable bicycles, disassembled bicycle components, and any type other than the foldable bicycles specified in the previous section.
6. Prohibited Items:
   a. Animals
   b. Firearms and sharp weapons
   c. Flammable or explosive materials
   d. Items that may disturb or harm other passengers
   e. Items deemed inappropriate for transport by train/station staff
   f. Any items prohibited by law
7. Baggage must be stored in overhead racks or designated areas and should not obstruct or endanger other passengers or damage the train.
8. PT KCIC and tiket.com are not responsible for damage or loss of personal belongings. Passengers are responsible for their own baggage.
9. Passengers will be held liable and required to pay compensation for any damage to the Whoosh High-Speed Train caused by their baggage.

 

Passenger name errors
KCIC allows for spelling errors in passenger names. Spelling mistakes of up to 3 letters are permitted, as long as the pronunciation of the name remains unchanged
