Excellent location. Good-sized rooms with their own bathroom. Very clean and neat without being too high-tech or pretentious. Breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt and home-made waffles was delicious and good. Could have added a bit more than one creamer for a coffee or two small bacon slices on my plate though, especially at 250 dollars a night. I say what would give this place 4 stars is to do better with breakfast and shower amenities such as better soaps and shower gels.

I will without a doubt give the villa gardenia another shot! The villa gardenia is a lovely property that is perfectly situated for visiting Naira Falls and all of the other fantastic nearby attractions. It is about a mile and a half from the falls on a side road that is just off of Naira parkway. If you were determined, you could walk to the waterfalls from the be. The ego bus, which is only a few blocks away from the I, is a great alternative. We had a car, so we bought a niagara parks parking permit for the day $ 25 canada that allows you to park at any of the nearby niagara park sites. Yen and her son, tim, recently took over the be. They are in the process of learning the business, and they are truly diligent. I assume they will have it up to date within about a year. In the meantime, the rooms are gorgeous and spotless. No common seating areas, only a small sitting area in the room with chairs, a to and a fireplace is present. The first morning, marmalade with perfectly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs, and the second morning, were excellent Belgian waffles with fresh fruit. This is what I do not typically do, but here is my deal. 1. Directions were misleading. Use any map. 2. Looks nice outside, on a peaceful street. Simple to move around. Says that falls are walking distance, which is a bit of a stretch. Can do, but also convenient for a super convenient bus system, ego. 3. We were greeted by Yen, a very nice Chinese woman who couldn't speak almost any English, and a young man, Tim, who I believe is the owner, who seemed unprepared to drive a vehicle. Yen told him to help us with our luggage, which he hesitantly did. When we inquired about ac, tim said something that he had not yet, which was to the point we almost walked out. Then he turned it on, which was central to the entire establishment. Ok, but the room was quite warm, and it was turned off later in the evening. Regardless, the first morning, when we returned, the room was completely untouched, with the bed and bathroom the way we had left it. The next morning's breakfast was intriguing. But they served with corn syrup. Yen seemed to be completely unable to comprehend both our desire not to use that on the pancakes and what maple syrup is.
