Our family came to Canada to enjoy the nature and here was one of the best views one can rest their eyes on in front of the loge. The road to the way here can be quiet bumpy but I guess it was worth it for this location. In the morning we could hear the chirping of birds and I saw a mother and a baby ground squirrel running away from their hole. The wildflowers scattered across the landscape were beautiful and I enjoyed reading outside the lodge in front of this massive and overwhelming but peaceful scenery. The lodge has a little house on the prairie vibes and the sheets were clean. The owners of the lodge helped us set up the fire and it was very cozy in bed at night(I thought there would be bugs but there weren't any. It would be almost bug free if you just didn't keep the front door open for too long) There was even a sauna with a river flowing beside it so that you could cool after the sauna. But the water pressure of the shower was a bit low which I was not a big of a bother for me but a problem worth fixing I guess. Otherwise, this lodge was one of my most memorable stays in Canada because I was only used to city hotels but this was a special and different experience. I would definitely recommend it to all nature lovers.

This place is incredible. Don't mind the poor reviews. It's a cabin in the woods. Enjoy it

This cabin is in a beautiful setting. It is very cute and really rustic but a really cool experience. Unfortunately, there was a distinct odour around the cabin that made keeping the windows open unappealing. The shower drain froze up after the first shower and we were unable to utilize it. Maybe I missed it in the booking, but the sauna is not included in the price: it requires an extra payment and 4 hours notice. The stairs require good mobility, so if you have anyone with reduced mobility they will be sleeping on the divan.

The cabin we stayed at was not the same as the one pictured. We booked for a cabin that sleeps 6 and arrived to a smaller 4 person cabin. The staff would not reimburse us for the higher priced cabin we payed for, and for “compensation” gave us a moldy mattress for our 2 guests to sleep on. You are paying for the mountain view and that’s about it. The cabin was dusty and electrical was flickering and not wired correctly. The drive to the cabin is a 14 km rough gravel road off of the highway, I suggest only driving with all wheel drive vehicles. The woman was trying to help us but her husband who would not speak to us in person shut her offers down over the phone. I suggest booking on their website as it is more accurate.
