I had a basement room and it was great. Very clean, especially the bathroom by balinese standards! The pool area was great, you get really good sun from 11 am onwards. Very friendly staff. They arranged a bike rental for me. The rooms are cleaned daily, nice clean sheets and towels. Strong wifi (did a couple of video calls with no problems) I liked it so much i extended.

A new hotel that appears to be being built and is only now operating. Given that there are excellent people managing it, i am confident it will continue to improve with time. The overall look is adorable. The beach is a fiveminute walk away, and there are shops and eateries a few minutes away. The high point of the trip was the incredibly welcoming staff. Although there are a few additional lounge chairs needed, the pool is also a great place to cool off in the heat during the day and swim laps. The twostory bungalows where i stayed were perfect. The first floor is currently somewhat deserted, with a bathroom, a small table and chairs, a dresser, a tv, and a refrigerator. A cozy bed and a small desk are located on the second level. If you leave your card in the wall and request to be let into your room when you return to the hotel, air conditioning on both levels can be run all day. This is advised because the room, particularly upstairs, gets quite hot when the sun rises. The main drawback of this hotel is that there is no insulation in the walls and ceiling to keep the temperature constant or to keep noise out. It is also advised to keep the curtains drawn during the day to prevent the sun from heating the area further. About 75% of the time, i had hot water in the shower. A decent place to stay for the price of $1 per night. I wouldnt want to pay more than that due to the insulation issue, which is primarily due to the fact that housekeeping only attempted to clean the room once a day. If it was a bad time for them to come to your room, you would lose your chance to clean until tomorrow. They did not come back later in the day to see if it was a better time for cleaning. I would have preferred if they had left the towels on the first floor rather than climbing the ladder on the second floor every day. There is no need to climb a ladder to get a towel every time i want to take a shower.
