Beautiful property with 4 units constructed from natural elements where available. Private and the view was to die for. The owner was kind enough to drop me and pick me up at the top of a secluded beach path as well as the path to Atuh and Diamond Beaches…absolutely and exquisitely gorgeous. Food was home cooked and amazing and they had the best coffee in the morning! I wish I had stayed longer ✨

We came here for lunch and it was really delicious. They offer a wide variety of freshly made smoothies and juices as well as traditional dishes. The best curry ive ever had all seemed very fresh and the hosts were very nice and friendly. The view is very nice and there was a nice breath which made it very comfortable at noon. Prices are also totally legit. We would come more often if we didnt have to leave tomorrow.

The place is really nice. The host and his wife are really nice people. They are so kind and take care of every detail to ensure you have the best possible experience. They even played nepali songs for us. A highly recommended place.

We stayed here to be close to diamond beacg. The owner is very friendly. Not much to do nearby, but perfect for an overnight or two. Highly recommend this mountaintop cottage for a quick getaway to relax and reset.

We had a wonderful stay at atuh forest cottages. Gede and dayu are wonderful hosts, very polite, caring, and informative. It was honestly like staying with family, and we only stayed 3 nights 2 days! The food is very good. Gede and dayu cook everything themselves. Delicious flavours and organic. So tasty and healthy! The prices are, in my opinion, very reasonable, especially for us coming from Perth australia where dining out is so expensive! The accommodation is delightfully rustic, simple, in decent condition, and very clean. The bed is comfortable, the mosquito netting is effective and a bit romantic, and the air conditioning makes relaxing and relaxing in the room great. The dining area overlooks the forested ridges and valleys, and beyond that is the ocean. It is a truly 5star view! Gede is a very good local guide who speaks excellent conversational english. A very calm and friendly man. He can easily arrange a driver if you want to go to the ferry or a tour of the island. Atuh is a 30minute walk from atuh beach, which is a hilly walk but the road is good. Atuh beach is very steep to swim, so be careful! I recommend atuh forest for a great affordable stay in nusa penida. I will definitely tell my friends about it. Om suwastiastu!

We had a wonderful three nights at this amazing place! The location is in the eastern part of nusa penida, far from the hustle and bustle of the northern ports and eastern touristy beaches. The owner, gede, and his lovely wife, were wonderful hosts when we arrived. Since ridehailing apps do not service this island as of april 2023, renting a scooter is something you would probably need to do in nusa pendia. The bathrooms are welllit, have a sink and shower area with good water pressure, good heated water, and functional drainage. The rooster calling was not louder than it was in the middle of the huts we stayed in. If you have a nonspice sense, the spice level can be reduced. The nyat fish, which was fried in a coconut or tumeric broth, was among my favorites. If you need to make multiple video calls, you can also use the wifi at this remote location. If you have roaming, the wifi can be reduced. If you have a nonspice taste, which i do, you can do better by using the ubiquitous hotel booking website. He can be reached on instagram at 62 821 45 39 15 19 as of april 2023. At the conclusion of our stay, we paid in idr cash. For the standard of furnishings and hospitality we received, the prices were very reasonable. Highly advisable!.

Highly recommended. The rooms are separate and private, and the brandnew lodging is spotless and cozy. The food is excellent, the staff is kind and accommodating, and the views are breathtaking. Try the cassava fries! Very convenient for atuh beach. Gede will be happy to answer any inquiries you may have.
