We highly recommend it and will definitely be back. The best place to stay and relax in nusa penida! We stayed for 2 nights and it was very difficult to leave because our stay there was definitely our favorite during our 1 month in indonesia. Room is spacious and clean, always smells delicious and the linens are always washed. Location is great, easy to get everywhere, close to the harbour and best restaurants on the island. They served a delicious breakfast with incredibly fresh fruit salad. And best of all, they are constantly ready to help! They booked all our tickets for us, drove us to port to assist us with our luggage and after i realized ive left my phone in the room, we quickly drove back to give it to me. Without if doubt the best service. Kind, clean and happy. Thank you, mertasari! Really thank you.

The location is great! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is calm. You can start a day trip from there or just relax on the terrace, at the pool or on tastier street with some nice shops and cafes nearby. We even extended our stay there and hope to return someday!.

The staff here are very friendly and nice! The place is really nice and homely. Every day when we return, they will ask us if we want tea or coffee. Breakfast is simple and delicious. The bed is comfortable. Most importantly, there is hot water and water that isnt salty. Thank you for all your hospitality!.

The location is about 5 minutes walk from the beach. The harbor is 10 minutes drive from accommodation by scooter. This small beautiful place is located about five minutes on foot from this little gem. Its a tiny wooden cottage in and of itself. When we arrived earlier than checkin time, our room was already ready and smelled clean. Both the bathroom and the room were immaculate! The breakfast was excellent. Staff members are exceptional. They were just amazing and went above and beyond to assist us. We felt very at ease.

This lovely hideaway has been my home for 3,5 months during corona quarantine, and i have felt at home from the very beginning. My bungalow was always spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, new sheets and towels, etc. It always smelled good. This wonderful and helpful family took care of me, giving me gifts every day. Their kindness is outstanding, they smile the warmest smile you can find on the island. They really cared about the little things. Clean pool and beautiful, peaceful garden with a nice view. The location is pretty ideal, quiet but close to shops, restaurants, beaches. At night, you may still hear the ocean. I will always remember those sweet people and my time here. Im making supper here again. Thank you so much.

I stayed there for 4 nights. The place is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the rooms are very clean. There is also the possibility to rent a scooter. Great location to visit the island. Hilghy recommended.

Excellent accommodations, excellent wifi, spacious bathrooms, air conditioning, and a delectable breakfast for only $2.50 per person. The staff was outstanding and organized tours, transportation, or scooters for us. Very close to beach front road with lots of restaurants but also down tucked away on reeked street that kept the place very quiet at night. Will be back!.

We had a pleasant stay at the mertasari bungalows. The ladies who run the place assisted us greatly in finding taxis, organizing, scooters and always paid incredibly high prices booking everything through them. Both the bed and the room were immaculate. If you plan to stay for ten days in nusa penida, i recommend this location.

Excellent experience at mertasari bungalows. The staff was very helpful and kind to us. Bungalow was immaculate. Breakfast was also really good. This accommodation on the island is in an ideal location. You can take day tours to see the sights on both the east and west parts of the islands, and you can reach the harbor in ten to fifteen minutes by scooter. There are many good warungs nearby. Highly recommended!.

My boyfriend and i had an amazing time here. The staff was incredibly kind and caring, making us feel right at home. There is also a cute dog in the property, which is lovely. We are very grateful for the wonderful stay we had!.

A very pleasant surprise and an absolutely perfect value for money! Good points, this place is not 4 luxury, but at 15 euros for a double room it is the best value we had in almost ten months of indonesia, not just bal. The staff was friendly and efficient. Decent breakfast served on your terrace Tea or coffee at the end of each day when you return. Very enjoyable settings and reading on the terrace after tripping on bad roads is priceless! Not so good. Two things that i would recommend for improvement are to provide - provide water boiler (although hot water for tea was provided every time we asked if possible recommendation

The rooms are spacious and clean, with beautiful terraces to sit outside. The staff are very helpful and can arrange scooter rental, drivers etc. My only suggestion is to add small refrigerators in the rooms. You can leave things in fridges at the lobby, but it would be more convenient to have a fridge in each room. Perfect oasis near the beach but away from main road.
