The huge swimming pool and Jacuzzi are tiled with natural greenstone.

The owner’s passion to preserve, share, and celebrate the rich heritage of Indonesia is further revealed by an eclectic collection of antiques, artwork, curios and masks which are mainly from Java and Madura.

Building Artis, we have been very conscious of environmental issues. Low energy devices are used for lighting. Teak wood windows, doors and ceiling structure are from disassembled Javanese house, while iron wood deck and flooring are parts from old bridges and road from Sulawesi. Old colonial train’s station’s posts are supporting the terraces, and mosaic were created out of old Dutch marble tiles.

Fully staffed from 8 am til 10 pm 7/7 days a week. Chef can prepare such and dinner on request with an extra fee after 10 pm.
