Q: What time is the check-in policy? A: We have dedicated staff to help with the check-in process. Our standard check-in time is at 2 pm (WITA). However, you are most welcome to drop your luggage after 11 am (WITA) while we are getting your villa ready. As our staff does not stand by the villa all the time, there will be an additional late-check-in fee applied at IDR 200,000 after 8 pm (WITA) as compensation for the staff overtime.

Welcome to Villa Markisa, a beautiful 3-bedroom retreat located in the heart of Peliatan, Ubud. Our villa is the perfect blend of Balinese style and modern architecture, with a plunge pool in the front garden and a cozy kitchen next to the living room. Spend your day by dipping in the pool, lounging on the patio, or exploring Bali's many hidden gems.
The space
The living room is spacious and airy, with a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV for entertainment. A ceiling fan is provided in this space to keep you cool during your stay at Villa Markisa. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, or you can enjoy the delicious food from the many restaurants in Peliatan.
Our villa is located in a close-knit neighborhood, so you're never far from local shops, international cafes, and art galleries. Villa Markisa is a short distance from many of Ubud's most popular attractions, including the Ubud Palace, the Monkey Forest, the Ubud Market, and the Tegallalang Rice Terrace.

At your service: The villa is fully staffed with villa attendants, a gardener, a pool caretaker, and an onsite manager, available to take care of you. The staff do not live on the property but are available when needed.

The nearest airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport, 35.8 km from the property.
Guest access
Located in a remote location, the road access is quite bad (not smooth and perfect). The road is narrow, a bit tricky, still in progress, and narrow for some larger cars. There are no lampposts on the limestone road heading to the villa, so it can be dark at night.
If you rent a car, please be aware to bring a smaller car when you arrive at the villa, as a big car may not fit on the road. A car bigger than a Toyota Avanza, may not be suitable for the road. We recommend you contact our onsite team for better direction first before you come to the villa.
Bali is a humid and tropical natural environment with lots of greenery. Geckos & insects are endemic to the Island. Even though gentle pest controls are regularly operated at the property, some encounters may occur. Please note that all of them are completely harmless and important for a balanced ecosystem.
