宿泊当日とチェックアウト後も荷物を預かってもらい、手ぶらで観光ができました。朝も簡単な軽食と言われ言われましたが、なかなかの朝食でした。大変満足できました。

小さい子供連れでの旅行。畳の部屋に布団が敷かれており大変有り難かったです。 1人一つの布団で広々寝れて疲れが取れました！女性の大浴場には最新のドライヤーがずらり。客室のお風呂にも大人と子供のアメニティーが。朝食の時もスタッフの方々のお気遣いが嬉しかったです。

館内、室内とても清潔でよかったです強いて言えば室内のトイレの手洗いで石鹸が使えなかった所ですかね。トイレで水洗いして洗面所で石鹸で洗うという二段階仕様でうちはやりました。朝の軽食も充分な朝食で大満足でした。京都に行くときには必ずこちらにお世話になりたい！です。

The most practical part was the location, which was also near the street, for the best convenience of staying at Hotel Sugicho. But this hotel was very old, which is probably because it was built in the 1960 s. However, its an unpleasant experience. That makes me happy. The employees were so attentive, kind, and polite, and it was so pleasant.

The breakfast they serve is excellent. The room was spacious and peaceful. The staff was really helpful and friendly.

The service was good, friendly and timely. Also, they don't have a smoking room. And then, the room is very clean, and they have new bedding and a neat bathroom. After that, if there are not any breakfast options, they cost less than 50 dollars, which is the price of a hostel in Kyoto.

The hotel sugicho is located north of teramachidori, in a relatively quiet area of kyoto yet still close to the main sights in central kyoto. The hotel is a walk from kyoto shiyakushomae station, which is not particularly useful. The more useful station would be karasuma or even karasuma station, both of which are a walk from the hotel, where you could go to kyoto station or used in osaka. While subway trains are hardly utilized for exploring kyoto, the bus system is only a short walk away, and you can take a handy one-day city bus pass to most of the city. The hotel is a modern roman era accommodation with very spacious traditional Japanese rooms. Expect some wear and tear, which gives the hotel a sense of the 1990 s. They also provide a modest breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, and rice. The hotel is opposite a school, which is interesting to observe and get a glimpse of everyday life in kyoto.
