We have spent a second time in this lovely Roman. The room and futon are very comfy. Traditional Japanese breakfast is wonderful and served in a private tatami room. The public hot shower is wonderful and a great relief after a long day of visiting temples! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, only a few steps away from Nishiki Market and within walking distance of the Lion and the River. Access to public transportation is easy. Great value. Highly recommended!.

Kami tinggal di Kagihei selama empat malam dan sangat terkesan. Keramahan sempurna, kamar bagus, sarapan yang sangat enak (sebaiknya di ruang belakang dengan pemandangan taman) dan titik awal yang bagus untuk berwisata. Jika kami kembali ke Kyoto, kami pasti akan kembali!

I call it japanese hospitality service. The staff is friendly, from the owner herself to the staff members. They are very attentive to your every action, know exactly what you want and serve you as best they can. The interior is unexpectedly beautifully furnished, although it looked different from the outside. Its amazing! The location is very close to shopping districts. I love it!.

Excellent stay here, with incredibly welcoming and englishspeaking staff. Very warm and inviting. The bath with hot springs was excellent. The rooms were spacious, traditional, and tea was served inroom at checkin. The owner and her husband go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and served in your own private area. A great choice for our final night in japan!.

We absolutely adored the ryokan, which included rooms, onsen, and private breakfast seats, the owners, and the central location, directly behind nishiki market, it was an excellent choice and an unforgettable stay during our trip throughout japan. You wont regret visiting there!.

Sambutannya sangat rendah hati dan hangat, semua staf ramah dan penuh perhatian, membantu Anda menemukan adat Jepang. Ini adalah contoh sempurna dari seni keramahtamahan Jepang. Minuman ditawarkan saat kedatangan kami, teh dan biskuit di kamar dan kami ditemani untuk menjelaskan aturan hidup di kamar dan rumah. The manager and everyone who works there are all very friendly. I ordered breakfast and it was very delicious. It was nice to have a bath right next to the room and the room was clean. Its close to the market in front, so im very satisfied.

The onsen is small but comfortable and convenient. The room was spacious and flawless. The location is strategic, close to the main bus stops to all tourist places and nishiki market. The host is great!.

This place is a small family run business that is located just a short distance from the nishiki market and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have private bathrooms and there is also a shared bath on the second floor. The traditional breakfast is also great! Dinner is optional and similar to breakfast, so i recommend checking out one of the many nearby restaurants.

Ryokan ini terletak tepat di sebelah pasar Nishiki, beberapa jalur bus, metro, dan jalan perbelanjaan utama. Ryokan ini tenang, kamarnya luas dan sangat nyaman, sarapannya sangat enak, stafnya menggemaskan, terutama pemiliknya, yang juga berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan baik. Sempurna untuk mengunjungi Kyoto.

I highly recommend kagihei and will definitely stay here again if we return to kyoto. This is my second time in japan, and kagihei has to be my favorite accommodation so far. The location is perfect, the room was beautiful with a real ryokan feel, but the best part was the owner and staff. From the moment my wife and i arrived they welcomed us, showed us around and throughout our stay helped us with everything we needed.

We had a wonderful five days here. The staff and owners are very friendly and speak good english. The rooms are comfortable and comfortable, in a beautiful traditional japanese style. The location is also very good, right by nishiki market and many restaurants. Its also a relatively short walk to transit stations. The complimentary traditional breakfast is very good and a fun way to start each morning.
