Een prachtige, kleinschalige en luxueuze ryokan hotel met een mooie combinatie tussen traditioneel en modern, op 15 min loopafstand van Kyoto station. We kregen een persoonlijke en aandachtige ontvangst en ook nog een zeer gewaardeerde, persoonlijke attentie vanwege ons jubileum! We hebben genoten van ons privé bad en de kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Absoluut waard om een (paar) nacht(en) te verblijven!

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. Need to take taxi if you have luggage. They can store lyggage for you before check in which was a breeze. Staff are extremely helpul and delightfilul. They have a simple snack bar with wine at front desk. We stayed at a family room for 4. Room is spacious and clean. Room decor is simple yet elegant. Beds are comfortable. We have breakfast and dinner in the rooml. Keiseki dinner was not exceptional as it should be given the price. Presentation and taste were ok. Breakfast was a little underwhelming. In all, I would stay again for the wonderful staff and elegant room but would go out to explore other food options.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights from May 10 to 14 and it was truly a wonderful ryokan experience. The property was beautiful. The reception area was like a zen garden and it provided a calm and peaceful place to sit and enjoy the daily drinks (including coffee) and snacks provided. The location was perfectly nestled in the quiet, traditional Kyoto streets, with access to so many restaurants, shopping, temples, and transit all within short walking distance. Kyoto station was about 10 minutes away by foot. The breakfast was amazing!! There was an option of a traditional Japanese breakfast and a Western style breakfast. I had the Western style and I looked forward to it every morning. The fruit was so fresh and beautifully cut. The room was large, traditional Japanese style room. The toiletries provided were much appreciated. The room was clean and well maintained daily. The tub was like a spa experience, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff took great care of us during our stay. They were friendly and always willing to help with our inquiries. Arigatou gozaimasu. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone going to Kyoto.

Clean room amazing experience recommend a in room massage, we really enjoyed our stay it was so relaxing and beautiful hotel. Staff was so amazing and attentive. Recommend coming and staying. Also not far from train station but still a nature feeling.

We arrived at the hotel around 1340. 20 minutes early. We asked if we can check in early and they said that we can. We sat in their tatami chair which was very comfortable. They gave a refreshment while waiting to be checked in. After our refreshment, we went to our room , the lady explained where the switch are and showed where the amenities can be found. She explained how to use the hot tub , there was a bath salt that they provided. The beddings were very soft and comfortable. The room was expensive but tut was worth it! All the staff gave us 5 star excellent service.

De verdad que este ha sido el mejor hotel en el que he estado por mucho. El personal súper amable, me resolvió todos los conflictos que me generó el atraso de mi vuelo. El hotel impecable, la comida excepcional. Me reembolsaron el día que no alcancé a llegar inmediatamente, lidiando ellos con los temas de expedía. Simplemente maravilloso!! Quedé tan sorprendida y tan agradecida que este es el único review que he hecho de algún hotel. Buenos además vale la pena mencionar que las instalaciones al ser un hotel tradicional japonés (ryokan) son maravillosas!

We had a great time! Beautiful room with great amenities! Onsen in balcony was the best thing. Room service was on point and all the staff were very attentive and very very nice! On the way back home on a rainy day one of the female staff kindly came outside and helped me carry suit case in taxi. She kindly told me to get in the car first because it’s raining and she said she will take care of suit case. I am very pleased with this Omotenashi service and I have so much respect and appreciation. This place is highly recommended 🙇

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room design is thoughtful, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bathtub is the perfect size and comfortably fits two people, which made it feel more like a private spa than a hotel room. One detail I really appreciated was the heated floors — such a small touch, but it made a huge difference, especially after a long day out. The room I stayed in had a unique layout where the shower is accessible both from the hot tub area and directly from the bedroom, which was incredibly convenient and very well designed. Everything felt clean, relaxing, and well thought out. The attention to comfort and layout really sets this hotel apart. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, relaxing, and elevated hotel experience.
