Accommodation tax (per person per night) is not included in the room rate. Please pay at the hotel.
As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 

【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  
For room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   
For room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  
For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400  
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   
For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 
For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   

For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.  
Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in.
Children 3-5 years old will be charged 50 % of the adult price.
Children under 3 years old will be charged JPY 2,220 per child per night for share bed.
For the guests with half board reservation:
If guests stay more than 2 days, please choose your dinner plan from these choices : Sukiyaki or Shabushabu. Please inform your dinner choice upon check-in.
Guests are requested to inform the property additional meal requirements at least 3 days in advance. Guests are requested to inform the property any food allergies or ingredients you dislike at least 5 days in advance. For guests who booked dinner, if arrival time is later than 20:00, property may not be able to provide dinner.
Guests must reserve meals in advance. Otherwise, no meal will be served.
Guests who reserved a room with dinner must check in before 07:30 PM or dinner cannot be served and no refund provided.
Guests with food allergies or preferences are advised to notify the property in advance via the Special Request box.
If 4 to 6 guests would like to stay in “Japanese-Style Superior Room – Annex”, please contact the property directly for further information. If the number of guests are different at check-in, guests will be charged the difference.
It is not acceptable to change the number of guests on arrival day. Please inform the property in advance if there is any change. If the number of guests changes upon arrival, the property cannot provide the room and/or meal.
Only either the puplic large bath or the medium bath is open.
The property provides drop-off only shuttle bus to the"Kita-Oji" station via "Kinkakuji".
No reservation is required to use this service.

The swimming pool will be open from July 11, 2026 to August 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

For guests with dinner, we will not be able to serve dinner if arrive after 8:00 p.m.
