I can confidently recommend it to anyone. The best service ive ever had in japan, and one of the best meals i have ever experienced!.

When i was searching for lodging for our twonight trip to karuizawa, he came across shishi icha and was astounded by the hotels design and style. Overall, we had a great time there, and it felt like reunification from the city. There arent many rooms, so you also get secluded throughout the day and at breakfast. Since they didnt have phd or phone, im guessing they want you to take in the entire atmosphere! Unfortunately, because we could hear cars passing by, our room was at the end of the hallway, it was occasionally raucous. We were hesitant at first because no one knew that the shower area was within the bathroom, but thankfully, the curtain was quite effective. The staff was very friendly and helpful when calling restaurants to make dinner reservations. One thing to keep in mind is that once the sun sets, this parking lot is only ten minutes walk away, which is fairly quiet once sunset. However, there is if you plan to leave and pick up your bags, you can temporarily park there. If you are traveling as equivalent or group, its not advisable, however, solo travelers may feel unsure. Nonetheless, glad we were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay here!.

The hotel boasts a stunning design and environment, nestled midway up the mountain. However, my only regret is that when i made my reservation through booking site, ive marked it as having two beds. When he arrived, we discovered that it was primarily occupied by juggling two mattresses, so despite sharing the same bed with my friends, there was no other option available. Overall, excellent service and excellent value!.

It was a wonderful weekend away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Simple wooden interior, artistic photos, small number of rooms, so guests amount is limited, all of which give you incredibly quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Food was also absolutely delicious, it was such individualized high quality selection, you need to book your table in advance, as the medaled is prepared on time and the number for tables is restricted. Excellent selection of herb teas and wines. Regarding the rooms one thing i want to highlight is the impeccable cleanliness. Before entering the living area, remove your shoes and switch to slippers. There is utensils with kiln and tv areas. Amazing bathtub and serene atmosphere fill the accommodations. I would say ive been able to unwind completely during my stay. Also, if you smoke, be aware that even after the hotel was built, there are still places where you can smoke outside. They provide you with pocket bins for cigarettes, which irritated me very much. This is ideal for single stays as well as couples. You can unplug and enjoy your trip to the fullest through the hotels peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal.

The atmosphere is so soothing and healing, and the architecture itself is an art work. Even though we had to share the common area with other guests, there is enough privacy, not overcrowded at all. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Its better to drive there than it is really difficult to find the location. We had a great time at shishi iwa house.

The restaurant was where i took a dinner course and learned about the hotel, among other things. It was fantastic. The personnel and menu are really welcoming to english. They have selectors of wines and whisky as well as tinier cigar alcove rooms. Very lovely check out and design. There is more history than drinks on the drink menu, and it is too small to read.

Its rare to find a hotel built by architects for pitzker prices! We stayed in ssh no.03, which we loved. The rooms were stylish and peaceful, with tasty pavilions for hot baths and lovely common areas. Special thanks to the entire staff, who were very kind and helpful. We also had incredibly delicious dinner at the restaurant, chef atsuya toki, and i want to express my gratitude to maitre d'hotel, especially for being so friendly!.
