This a lovely Roman inn with a long history of around 100 years. It is about a 1015-minute walk from tend station. If you call the day before, you can arrange for a bus pickup from the station, especially if you have luggage. The check-in process was a bit slow because the staff did not speak much English and eventually made it. After checking in a staff member showed us on the map where the lobby, our rooms, and the location of the hot spa baths were on. We were also informed of the location of the breakfast room and that breakfast was from 730 am till 900 am. When we returned to our rooms, we were amazed to find that some actual, genuine keys still used here to lock the door. The room had a couple of sliding doors that gave you a real old-fashioned Japanese atmosphere. The breakfast you were served was an authentic Japanese breakfast, unique and interesting. Also, you can get coffee and orange juice. There was a cat roaming around greeting visitors, and he was called the magician. This cat was circling around greeting guests, and you could often see it doing claw marks on the back of the sofa. It seemed as though the owner liked the cat and let him do what he wanted. I would choose Azumaso again. Roman heritage dates back a century, and Azumaso is one. Although the main building has some age, the property is well maintained. There are two genderseparated public onset ohs available, one indoor and one outdoors, I recommend staying in the new wing and, ideally, a room with a private opener onset. These are large rooms with a lovely layout, such as a separate dining room. Dinner and breakfast are served in your room. Azumaso has a decent selection of sake and offers four different tasting sets of three cups each. Azumaso offers a decent selection of sake and four different tasting sets with three cups each. All of the staff members were kind and helpful, and we had a great time and appreciated their hospitality.

We weren't too concerned about our reservation at Azumaso primarily because the price was considerably less than those of other luxurious Romans. As readers may recall, in Japan generally, the more expensive the experience, the less costly the experience. However, we did not have to worry! Our apartment at Azumaso was huge. Dream, my room, was a dream! The Roman featured two large tatami rooms: one that served as a sitting area and the other as a bedroom. Additionally, it had a dining area that allowed people who werent used to a Japanese meal to sit on a normal table and chairs at the dining room. It is very nice. This accommodation includes its own hot spring bath. It was a cedar tub bath that was ideal for two people. The water was genuine hot spring water, and it was extremely hot. Before entering the bath, we had to seriously cool the water in the morning. We never planned to try another bath because our bath was so delectable. Why rush the meal if you are eating in your own room? Although the waitresses were friendly and efficient, we believe that Azumaso had too few waitresses and was under a lot of pressure to take in customers quickly.
