The location was fabulous, facing the lake with a fantastic view of the sunrise. The cabin was small but very well kitted out w a small pantry that had everything required to make a meal. It was also close enoigh to walk to the supermarket, the main Tekapo village as well as Tekapo Springs. Absolutely enjoyed ourselves.

I was offered a standard cabin probably I made an error booking a standard cabin within private ensuites and I had to walk at least 100 m to kitchen/toilets so I was offered an ensuite which was lots better

Excellent Stay with Unbeatable Views! We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Everything about the park was excellent, from the warm and professional staff to the incredibly well-maintained facilities. The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk into town and right next to the springs.

Great property awesome location. Shared kitchen, bathrooms etc but that was fine. These facilities were clean. Beds good. Perhaps could do with extra power points. Had to buy extension cord fir Cpap machine but that's ok. Felt safe wandering around at 2am in the morning, starwatching. Nice & warm

The staff were so helpful and room was spot on. The view of Lake Tekapo was unbelievable and we had a laundry room next door and small kitchen in the room. Places to eat were just down the road with a variety of food available😊

The photos provided on Hotels.com do not do this property justice at all. It is actually way nicer. It is a popular place to stay and each staff member we interacted with were so friendly and helpful. Our room had the most beautiful view. Parking was directly next to our unit. Our unit was very clean and had everything we needed. It is about a 5-10 walk into the center of town. The food trucks are a 5 minute walk to and they are also better than most of the restaurants. The hot springs are also a short walk away and they provide a few discounts for people staying at Lakes Edge. We wished we had booked for a few more nights!

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
