We stayed in a hostel for the first time with our kids, and we will definitely stay there again. The environment here is very pleasant and comfortable. The service is also good, you will get wonderful meals and the view of the mountains is also very stunning.

In august, we spent three nights here. They made a mistake with our booking, so we were fortunately to get a room! We were pleased that the apartment was free because we had reloaded and she had us placed on the incorrect date. Nina checked us in after she resolved the issue, and she gave us a drink while she addressed it. Nothing was too much trouble, and Nina offered us a beverage. Since we had arrived around 12:30 p.m., we proceeded to the cable car first, followed by the cable car at Sort and then down to the cable car. We hiked for about three hours in total. It was a fantastic tour of the mountains. By the time we returned to the hostel at rp, the apartment was ready for a double room, and the children aged 18 to 14 had temporary beds in the living area. There was a shower room and a little kitchen. Excellent and self-service breakfasts. We spent the evenings in the apartment's kitchen and enjoyed card games, drank beer, and relaxed in the hostel dining area. As previously stated, the transportation into town is daily for free, but watch out because the last train return to the hostel is at around 6 pm. Other activities. Our family had a great time at the hostel. Location above the town. About a 15 minute walk to town and 30 minutes back uphill. The standard European breakfast was great. Beds are bunk beds and shower and toilet are shared.

This place is 15 minute's walk uphill from the train station, but it's well worth the effort. The staff is very friendly, the place is quiet and has a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Naturfreundehaus Nature's Friends House is part of a network of similar hotels in Switzerland.
