Location was excellent- central location in Karakoy within walking distance to tourist areas like galata/taksim/sultanahmet. Apartment was very clean. Communication w host was excellent. Only thing that could be improved is that the entry area to apartment had some carpet areas on the stairs that were peeling off and the automatic lighting on the stairs did not always turn on when you needed it, which could be a safety hazard. Finding free parking is nearly impossible (a common challenge in Istanbul not just this neighborhood). But, there are ample paid parking spots including one just an 1-2 minute walk from the apartment. Those are really the only negatives that I saw, given the great price point and location! Overall it was a great value and I would definitely stay here again.

1 semaine pour visiter Istanbul! L’emplacement est idéal 2 min de la station de tram Karakoy, 2 min de la tour de galata. Plusieurs commerces autour, un responsable attentif à la moindre demande. Un petit point négatif, l’insonorisation est à améliorer, des fuites au robinet de la salle d’eau mais rien de grave. Je recommande aux routards qui aiment le confort d’un appartement avec machine à laver.

We stayed in a flat on the top floor with 2 balconies for 5 days. You can see the bosporus and galata tower on the other side. We often had breakfast and even dinner on the terrace because of that. The location is perfect, not far from the main shopping street, close to the new and modern cruise ship port, next to a local area for going out (umbrella street, etc. The service was friendly and very responsive via whatsapp. The rooms were fine overall. The standard is ok standard, but not luxurious. The small kitchen is fine for small cooking. The living room is spacious. The bathroom is very small for a 4-5 bedroom apartment.

Staying there from 9 february until 12 february, then 18 february to 21 february. Everything is fine, the rooms, kitchen, and toilet, mr. Yacup is very helpful with our airport transfer from the building to the airport and verse during our stay. We kept our luggage at his place during our trips to Prague, Vinnea, and Budapest, the wifi was also very good. The bed is very comfortable and the view is very nice, you can see the galata tower from the balcony in the kitchen. Except of course in turkey there are stairscase, but there is a lift from the first floor to the fourth floor.
