In one of the cabins, I spent three weeks off. It was cozy, complete with a wood burner, and was quite cozy. I was enlightened as to whether I would move to north devon. The cottage provided a very cozy home base when it was raining heavily and the walks around the farm are almost nonstop. In order to help me feel at ease after a lengthy stay, I took a few personal belongings, table cloths, and blankets, among other things. There are decent pub options at heartland village, which you can purchase fairly decent supplies. I had a fantastic stay. No. I went in February 2019 only. The date of my stay was not set because I've only recently found out how to use this site.

We stayed in a Granary Cottage for a week. The location is strategically located for walking and swimming at sea and cycling as the place is peaceful and relaxing. Vicky and Annie were very kind and helpful.

From that standpoint, our familys mother, dad, daughter, and son stayed there for five nights in July to get away from the lockdown. After navigating those secluded devon county streets, the cottage was lovely and nicely furnished. Annie was incredibly accommodating and rich in information and assistance. From the patio garden, it was a fantastic setting for exploring the region and had a view of the church in Stoke and the sea below. We were able to do a lot of things, including cycling along the taka trail, snowboarding twice at Sidmouth Bay, a lengthy walk around the heartland peninsula, kayaking, sunning, walking, and running at Amar Lake, visiting a lovely location, and running a few runswalks from the cottage to the village, maybe a mile away. Even though some of the nearby pubs in the village were still working on their feet due to the distancing rules, we had our first two meals outdoors for months at the wreckers retreat in the heartland quay. Fantastic. We missed everything. We all would strongly advise it.

The cottages are situated in north devon's remote and peaceful heartland peninsula. Throughout our stay, the proprietors were extremely pleasant and supportive, advising us of the greatest local walks and pubs. They provided excellent walking maps of the area. Heartland village, with its shops, cafes, and 3 pubs, is approximately a 20-minute wooded walk from the cottages. Heartland quay is about a 45-minute stroll or 10 minutes by car away from the south west coast trough. The coastal route has breathtaking scenery. Although it is quite arduous to walk, it is well worth the effort for the views. Beautiful is only a 20-minute drive away be careful of the slippery rocks, my wife slipped and broke her ankle. Any trail runners, I made some excellent runs from the cottage to heartland quay, then up to the heartland peninsula and back to the cottage for around 7 miles of hills and views. I reserve a new home for 2022.

We really loved our stay at christof. Wonderful hosts who go out of their way to assist in any way possible. Very attractive cottages we stayed in. One for my son and family, and one for us, both in the same courtyard. They are very well equipped and tastefully furnished, and there is beautiful, serene countryside all around. Look no further if you're looking for a vacation destination that will please you.
