Perfect Blend of Historic Charm and Modern Comfort From the moment I arrived at the Kingston Carriagehouse, I knew I had found something special. It is rare to find a stay that balances authentic historical character with the high-end amenities of a boutique hotel, but this place nails it. What Made the Stay Stand Out: The Atmosphere: The restoration of the carriage house is stunning. It feels cozy, private, and incredibly intentional. The attention to detail in the decor creates a warm, "home away from home" vibe that you just can't get at a standard hotel. The Amenities: Everything was pristine. The linens were high-quality, the space was spotless, and the little touches—like the curated coffee selection and local recommendations—made a huge difference. Location: Ideally situated! It was quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep but close enough to the heart of Kingston that we could easily explore the local shops and dining scene. The Hosts: Communication was seamless. They were professional, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in maintaining such a beautiful property. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a unique, stylish, and comfortable base for your time in Kingston, look no further. I’m already planning my return trip. Highly recommended!

This was a great change to the ordinary hotel. I would definitely stay again. I would of done 5 stars except for the cobb webs decorations and there was a few maintenance issues that should be addressed before things fall off the wall. I definitely recommend staying here even with those minor things.

Renovated house with charm and lots of luxury details. Great location though we had a little trouble finding parking at night when the area is busy. We had a great stay and would stay here again next time we are in town!

Great location if you are spending a couple of days in the Kingston area. Charming house and decor. I loved that they deliver warm coffee and muffins in the morning. The room was decorated nicely and they even provided a record player with records.

Our room was beautiful; beautiful furniture, exquisite design, brand new renovation. Amazing air con. Heated bathroom floor. Amazing rain shower head. Very short walk to waterfront, museums, restaurants, bars and shops. Unbelievable stay. They brought us coffee in a thermos with mugs and local pastries on the morning of our checkout, including chocolate babka from half moon bakery..which was out of this world. Can’t recommend this place more highly. When we checked in, another couple was also checking in and the guy came out of his room and said, “I can’t believe how beautiful our room is!” The Designer/management team knows what they are doing. You will not be disappointed. Street parking very easy.

Amazing stay! Just make sure you get a lesson in how to turn the heat on... beautiful property walking distance from sights, shops, and cafes. Will absolutely stay there next time we are in Kingston!

Carriage House was an absolute gem! It was stylish, cozy, and spacious. The morning coffee and baked goods for breakfast were outstanding - so good we found the local bakery and got more. It was such a comfortable stay and close enough for us to Rhinebeck. We are definitely planning on making a return trip in the future.

Riverfront Kingston area close to main street. Easy self check-in and check-out. On a main road with less traffic noise after 9-10pm. Rustic charming room. Temperature control with AC in main room and heating fan in bathroom. Ample sized bathroom and main room with king sized bed and loveseat. Record player with additional records in drawer and plenty to do in the area. Short drive to stockade. Coffee and Pastries delivered to room in the morning. Easy communication with property.

I liked the record player and the room was clean and comfy. Coffee and pastries were waiting by the door in the morning. Checking in, the battery was dead in the room lock. Had to wait 30 mins for service to arrive. The shower floor was dangerously slippery! An accident waiting to happen. Was unable to connect to Wi-Fi after multiple tries.

The place was clean, inviting and perfect for a getaway. Great communication. Our only concern was that We did book for party of three and amenities like robes/ breakfast was only catered for two.

The property and location were amazing. Super easy to get to and from different points in Kingston. Walkable area. Good parking direction from the host. There was a logistical mix up but they fixed that immediately. It would have been nice to have the sofa bed made up upon arrival or at least have extra linens in the suite, but I let them know via their text line, and they sent someone within an hour. The breakfast/coffee situation leaves quite a lot to be desired, but hopefully theyll work out those kinks. Otherwise almost perfect and beautiful!

The tub and the bed were very nice and comfortable. The room was interesting and definitely had a good curated vibe as a carriage house with nice wide plank wood floors, interesting shaped room vaulted ceiling and vintage tiling in bath, etc. However there were not enough outlets, and the outlets that were there were not easy to plug into and one sparked. Room would greatly benefit from a coffee maker as the promised 7:30 coffee delivery did not happen in a timely enough manner on either day. The second day was a snow storm, but it seems unsustainable that coffee must be delivered from elsewhere. Also the croissants were ice cold on the first day, as well as being 45 minutes late.

Loved this house to stay and be walkable distance from the river. Mondays and Tues are quiet in the town since many places are not open. The carriage house is recently renovated and has such cute character. Only one incidence where I couldn’t get back in during midday as the door keypad was malfunctioning. The doors have to be relocked when exiting. The Breakfasts are yummy pastries but morning drop off is not punctual.

The room was new and nice but for the price the room should have been bigger have a fireplace refrigerator and microwave. The room was in the coach house which we didn’t know. The breakfast was a thermos of coffee and croissant in a bag dropped off at door. The check in was thru website. It felt like we were in the middle of covid.

Not optimal for the price point, no staff on premises The lounge literally has nothing even the coffee machine broken Breakfast is basically coffee and a dry croissant that you won’t eat You can hear everything around you the walls are super thin The area is nice to hang out in but nothing stands out

Heat was off and room was very cold. No TV, no parking, no staff. Basically an Airbnb.
