Because there wasn't much money left, we talked with the abbey employees, and because some of the rooms were independent owned, I was certain that there were many nice accommodations available. After my wife and I discussed the matter of a special evening, they suggested we could get a better room. We arrived in a closet of a room where one single bed was driven together from the mould in the bathroom. The floors were dirty, so we had to wear shoes. I guess you get what you pay for, and the next time I need a night in town, I won't hesitate to pay a little more for a nicer spot to stay. Not bad for a low-cost apartment. You'll love it if you set your expectations very low!.

This property is excellent for your trip to the Stadium across the road from Roma Street Station. Also easy walk to city centre and Southbank. Not all rooms are equal though.
