Two nights were a highlight. The lovely May at the front desk was the sole highlight. The positives are that it is close to the central uphill, the room is spacious, and the facilities are excellent. The linen is clean. The rest were quite ordinary. You were never given a friendly greeting or even a smile by the personnel. We went down every time we walked into or passed through the front desk. The carpet in the room was manky and quite melted into the imbedded dust. Many items were loose. Although the cleanliness was excellent, there were vents that need to be done because there was a large dark skid mark on the ceiling from the air conditioning. The room was dim, and the lighting was subpar, with the reading lamp missing. There were constant door slamming and sounds from above and across the hallway, which produced poor sleep quality. As soon as the jackhammering started overhead before dawn, earlier than I wanted, I checked out, but I was unable to stand the noise and vibration. When booking, check-in, or when the room notices that renovations were occurring, I was not informed. One note pad with a single note pad of notepaper! Figure that one out.

The hotel was clean, and the top floor studio rooms were a good size and quiet. The king bed was also comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast buffet includes a nice selection of hot and cold dishes to kick start your day.

This hotel provides parking there. This place is not managed by the hotel. The employees here were so fantastic, especially Clare. The location here was strategic. They provide a parking area with a simple entrance that is easily accessible and charged through the room. The parking space here is very large, they also have a comfortable sleeping area. They also provided a toilet and shower, which makes the room comfortable. The room looks clean, and the decor is very modern, with a flat screen. The bed was also clean and comfortable, with the unexpected light around it, and they have a small lounge which I really enjoy in every room.

I honestly cannot comprehend some of the negative reviews. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels in Brisbane in the past year, and this one was by far one of the best at an affordable price. Have a convenient bar and cafe downstairs where we got fantastic coffee in the morning. Reception was quick to bring up extra blankets and pillows, and the couch was big enough that when our youngest child wanted to sleep alone we put him on it. Location was close to the city and valleys only tip is to wait for users at the back of the building, not the front entrance. will return very soon.
