I had a wonderful time at the citys merita suites, and my mother and i both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Everything we needed was close by, easy to walk around, the rooms were clean and tidy, there was an amazing view at night. We particularly liked the pool facilities, which were very convenient for us. Our suite had washers and dryers as well as the washer and drying room. Overall, it is rated ten out of 10. Would undoubtedly return. Ps. To be able to cast our devices on the internet from the tv was the only issue we encountered. However, all the staff were extremely helpful in doing so.5.0/510 Sep 2023

The housekeeping guy opened the door of my room right before check out time was up while we were still in the room. Everything was fine except for the morning on 20th mar, when i was still inside the apartment, everything was nice except that! For a 5star hotel, its unbelievable.5.0/517 May 2023

I was a little concerned about this one after staying at the Meriton in Sydney earlier this year because our previous experience was rather ordinary. So it was nothing like it and sadly we werent staying more than one night! They gave us sytayed room 5103, which was also id stayed in if you want to stay for ten nights. It was perfect, really! The entire establishment is only dated, so it is close to perfect! It still smelled like paint, that very new smell. The front desk staff was friendly and even gave me lgly check out! There was one problem with the room in the morning somehow the dishwasher turned itself on and by the time we realized it had started to flood the entire living room! We were quick to request maintenance, he seemed like hen had fixed it but the drawers etc kept dripping, we just made sure it wasnt turned off. We also told reception on the way out, did we think the plumbing may not have been completely hooked up at first? The staff were very helpful! This was an extremely affordable hotel in central cbd, just stepping away from southern cross train station. Our trip from country Victoria was ideal and easy because we had taken the train in. Docklands, southwarf, and Bourke street mall are all within walking distance. Even the mcg can be seen on foot or4.8/524 Sep 2024

The rooms were spacious, plush, comfortable and new. Great value for a hotel of this caliber! Would happily stay here again when i visit australia again! I had an amazing stay at the meriton on queen street. This is one of the best hotels ive ever stayed in, and i frequently stay in meritons. An excellent addition to the hotel market in Melbourne. Beautiful rooms, quiet with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, as well as a wellequipped kitchen. The evening checkin crew was fantastic, very friendly, helpful. We stayed last week on the 30th floor in a beautifully presented suite with beautiful views of Melbourne. The friendly reception staff booked us in and another staff member went above and beyond and helped carry our luggage to our room as i had walked. That small action was very appreciated. I applicationd where ive found ee buy shabby pillows. Bedroom was sized, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were so good. A simple call to reception is all that is needed. Curtains were perfect blockouts and correct width so there are no gaps to let in any light. An iron and tv fullsize ironing board were located in the wardrobe. Small lounge area and easy to use lg hv. Coffee table could have been smaller which would be easier to move around and make the space feel larger. Dining room chairs were very comfortable but heavy. There was an entire fridge and plenty of crockery etc. Washing machine and dryer were much appreciated as we were traveling but no airer was provided. The onebedroom apartment i shared with my sister while visiting relatives in australia is wonderful. It was quite handy. We were able to board the skybus from the airport to the city and only had to walk a few blocks to get to our apartment. I usually leave the back door and head uptown to catch the trams to shops, markets, and the theatre. Since the metros are free in the area, it is simple and convenient. Because they were only recently constructed, everything in this apartment is brand new. A one bedroom apartment was ideal for us because it gave us pause and have breakfast before heading out for the day. The washer and dryer were useful. I would recommend it 110%. My partner and i decided to go to Melb, and the Meriton was the best option. We looked for other lodging options - even airbnb and somehow we were able to get a 1 bedrm suite for the weekend for only $350 which was cheaper than most places, if not all he said looked amazing! We decided against renting ot rented car, but the walk from the skybus to the hotel was so close and quick! When we arrived early, felt that etihad to pay before doing any activities or eating in case ive run out. I had more than enough money lol. Just get anxious. When u arrived around 11 p. M., they were willing to give us supper instead of us checking in at 3 pp. That was absolutely amazing, as the staff was very friendly and accommodating even to our silly questions. Before making a reservation at this hotel, i looked through the reviews and received quite different opinions from excellent to extremely disappointing. I chose to book because ive stayed at the Meriton gold coast numerous times and have always been happy. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, from the immaculate room with shabby view to the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. It is merely ten minutes walk from an airconditioned skybus terminal, tram just outside, and incredibly good coffee shop across the street, but it is not open on weekends. Because he found it tastier than three stars for location, which explains why ill give it three points. We were there for the oly and took three trams to get there, however, perhaps thats because we didnt understand the tram system and didn't ask reception for help because they were so happy to explore. Thank you to all the employees at marrioton, including the front desk and the people who work very hard behind the scenes who made our visit so enjoyable.4.6/521 Aug 2024

The experience was incredible and welldesigned, especially the spacious modern rooms, the views from the higher floors, and the pool area. I had a wonderful onenight stay in the city before christmas. I would return at any time. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Particularly at the reception and the pool area staff member who brought me lovely soft towels after i left the door open for his trolley. It was great that the pools area has secluded spa, pool, and sauna, but the floor can get muddy, yet it was familyfriendly. We didnt use the gym, although it appeared to be modern and clean. Our room was on the 30th floor and was suited as if it had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend it for groups and families because the room had washer, dryer, full kitchen facilities. Basic channels were available on television, along with the option to stream your own subscriptions without having to use your passwords. Everything was clean and wellstocked. Great central location, close to supermarkets, cafes of southern cross station, tram stops, etc. When he went out alone at 10 pm to pick up food, ill feel safe because all the bars in this area had security on them. This hotel is relatively new and only opened a few months ago. The staff are friendly, we were able to check in 2-3 hours before checkin time, many thanks! The location is convenient, close to the town hall and within walking distance to chinatown, darling harbor, and westfield shopping. The hotel has a very good front desk service attitude, but it is older than the retail in Melbourne. Before traveling, i read many fivestar reviews about Sydney and they all said they were average.
