The staff, the dining table position, and the food were all excellent. We were so sorry when the time came to leave. Our dinner followed a Dome experience earlier in the year, which was a very special lunch. Friends who stayed for a spa experience recommended homewood to us.

My boyfriend and i had a wonderful stay at homewood. This was our last opportunity to spend some time together and relax because we have a baby in the next few weeks. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and they even left homemade truffles, brownies, and even a pregnancy pillow for me so i was completely comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Fresh, locally sourced, and wellseasoned. We had dinner twice and breakfast every day. Its really nice that i get the impression that the chefs are really passionate about what they do. Freshwater is one of the most beautiful villages ive visited, so there are lovely walks right outside your door. And finally, i had the most incredible pregnancy massage from marta, who put me at ease and made the entire experience so wonderful and relaxing. I wish i lived closer because i would definitely get a massage before the baby comes! Would definitely go again!.

When you look into the detail and think of a good hotel, something tells you that something is telling us all the signs of a classy establishment at homewood bath. We only live 20 miles away, so this is our first visit! We stayed in a Mews suite room, wow! Couldnt fault it for the value and the attention to detail. Lighting indoors and out, decor and high quality finishing throughout, not to mention the thought put into the view from the hot tub! Even the plants and pots and attention were clearly thought out. The main hotel and areas were also nice, with high fires and cozy snugs! The restaurant was epic, the attention to detail was amazing, the wait staff and atmosphere in the restaurant, we asked to sit in the conservatory and it was nice, the meal was 10/10 couldnt fault it. Only 3 small things, staff not always in the bar so waiting for drinks, dirty windows in hotel bars and restaurants! And spa and facilities really did not match the standards of the hotel and rooms. Overall, the spa was a huge disappointment, and the atmosphere was very tired and in need of a freshenup. However, the treatment i received 60 min back massage was very good. It would be nice to see the facilities be a little more 5 as the hotel deserves it! We will be back! Next time with the dogs! Good work, it was a pleasure to stay with you.

We reserved 2 nights for our honeymoon. We were incredibly grateful that we were upgraded upon arrival. The room was fantastic, the staff was outstanding, and the food and beverages were excellent. Beautiful spar and treatments. Great setting. From the moment we arrived until we left, i felt at home. I enjoyed breakfast in the greenhouse and conservatory. The afternoon tea was delightful. Breakfast was a great choice and delicious. Were coming back!.

The husband and our two young children stayed for two nights. We had a wonderful stay, the room was beautiful and we had direct access to the pool. It wasnt as warm as we had anticipated. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented and very tasty. The only reason i couldnt give five stars was because the service was a little off. We had to ask for help with our bags, waited longer than we would have liked to give drinks and food orders, and were seated for breakfast without immediately asking what we wanted to drink. Our bbq chef at the pods was very attentive and a true asset to the hotel!.

What a fantastic location for a girlish spa vacation. Driving through the lighted trees, you get a magical feeling. Upon arrival, you are greeted warmly and have access to many charging stations. Our room was large and wellkept. The picture and mix were a lovely touch at every turn. The spa was very peaceful and wellkept. Breakfast was delicious. The service was cut off entirely because a member of staff entered our room without knocking on doors or waiting for an answer, and we were both in our towels after showering. The only negative aspect of our stay.

We had an amazing time at homewood. The location is fantastic, and the fact that they grow fruits and vegetables right there on the grounds of the restaurant is breathtaking. Everyone was lovely. The staff made us feel very welcome, and homewood was our home away from home. Evan added a special touch by serving a barbecue in the pods. This is a mustvisit place. We will definitely be back!.

The perfect retreat. Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, a lovely spa and just so well designed overall. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway. We recommend a walk to the inn at freshford for lunch and onto iford manor.

I would definitely recommend staying here, and my husband and i wish we had booked a second night. I recently stayed for one night, and it was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with lovely personal touches. We ate in the fully heated outdoor dome. The staff was friendly and checked in frequently to ensure that the food and drinks were all well received. The spa area is excellent. I highly recommend the full body massage. The therapist was very professional.

So my wife and i have been coming here for over ten years. We live quite close and have seen it change hands a few times. We had our wedding reception here and my wife has frequently visited the spa, so we like to think we have visited frequently enough to write an honest review and compare the changes to the spa, the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere and feel of homewood. Last night my wife and i came for dinner on the terrace. We had three courses all excellent. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was fantastic. As for dinner dates, it couldnt have been better. The background music was appropriate and the terrace setting was stunning. The recent changes have made a huge difference and this was by far the best experience we have had in all the 10 years we have been guests. We will definitely be visiting frequently. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a beautiful evening. We are so lucky to have such a great venue and setup so local to us.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a treat. I took my wife here for her 60th birthday. We had a great time, beautiful surroundings, great massages and delicious food. What a fun 3 days.

We stayed at homewood for 3 nights and it was great. The staff is great, the food is delicious and the room is beautiful. I also had treatment which i cannot fault at all! Would highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely return.

The staff is excellent, very friendly and hospitable. The lunch was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. Unfortunately, the room would have appreciated air conditioning, and it is located on a busy road.

We had lunch in one of the pods for six people with children. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The appetizers, such as cheese fondue, and main courses, such as sea bass, were excellent. The desserts, such as chocolate pudding and apple crumble, were disappointing in presentation and taste, but we were full, but this time we had a great time! All accompanied by fantastic champagne and delicious tasting wine in a fantastic location. Our kids were very welcome, and there is even a lovely play area next to the pods. Highly recommended!.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay, the hotel was in a beautiful location with lots of beautiful walls. When we arrived with our dog, there was a lovely dog box in the room with a dog bed and chocolate brownies for us. There were many lovely extra touches, including pick and mix jars you can help yourself, and a dyson hair dryer and fan. The food was delicious, and the spa was excellent. We highly recommend homewood and will definitely visit again.

On 31 st/3 rd, my wife and i went for an evening meal. I had prawns and duck for the main course, my wife had halloumi and then hake. The food was nothing short of amazing, and the duck was perfectly cooked. Excellent cocktails before sitting down, and highquality house wines by the glass at the table. The service was excellent, and a charming young lady took excellent care of us. Not cheap, but good value, and i highly recommend it for that special occasion.
