The hosts are very kind and helpful, we rented bikes for angkor wat from them and they also arranged bus tickets for us. Really recommended. Such a lovely place run by incredibly kind people. And best of all, the food is delicious. I spent two nights in secluded rooms with fans. The room was good, bed was comfortable, and the shower jet was perfect. There is no hot water, but its so warm there that its unlikely youll want it. It was quite warm, however, i believe other rooms have air conditioning. Now for the cuisine. Delicious is understated. Most khmer mains are around $3,50 and their quality is insane.

Soben always has a friendly greeting and always provides service with swagger. I usually stick to the khmer options (you cant beat mutton and rice! ), but they also have dozens of western and thai dishes. So theres something for everyone, besides that, its in opulent location and affordable prices.

This place is fantastic, with a cozy outdoor but covered seating area. The food is of high quality, the coffee is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. And the owners and staff are amazing!.

The staff is also very friendly. We will be back. Went here on a friday for tapas night. Great value for what you get, plenty of vegetarian options and dozens of drinks.

My husband and i stayed here for 5 nights and everything was perfect! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The food was delicious, serving both amazing khmer and western cuisine. But the best part is the staff, the friendliest people you will meet in Cambodia! They were very warm, welcoming and always smiling. So happy to help you with anything you might need and helped us arrange a scooter for one of the days we needed! Really my favorite place we have slept in ages!.

We frequently visit sobens every day because of the excellent cuisine and service. The menus for both khmer and western dishes at soben are both delectable and authentic. We also adore the carrot juice! Thank you so much for the fantastic food, sobuen and team! Y.

The restaurant is small and familyrun. There are many options for the khmer and western menu. The breakfast is excellent. My favorite is the beef stew with bread, which is probably the best in siem reap. Also, the coffee is very good at a very reasonable price. Im looking forward to trying out the mains. Keep up the fantastic work, guys!.

I was just a little bit of snoozed in here for booze and snacks, and im glad i did. The food is quite tasty, not the bland western version youll find in many places.

The best breakfast in town is the western style. Extremely kind and helpful people. Excellent location, a little away from the hustle and bustle and conveniently close to the canal for walks.

We have been staying here for the past few days and it has been fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is brilliant and very helpful and the food / drink is some of the best we have had in Cambodia! Cant recommend this lovely little place enough. Quiet, homely and welcoming. Thank you.

The restaurant is small but the food is delicious. We stopped here and thought the menu looked good. Ordered khmer curry and pork stir fry with ginger and both dishes were delicious, the staff was also very friendly and attentive! The menu has a variety of dishes including cambodia, italian, and mexican all at very reasonable prices. Our meal included drinks and we paid $11 for it. I highly recommend it for great food, with good service at incredibly affordable prices

I keep returning when i find something ive enjoyed. During my 12day stay in siem reap, ill ate the final 7 meals here and this one. The vegetable stir fry with khmer curry. It was delicious and the veggies were perfectly done. A great price and a nutritious meal on top of everything else.

This familyrun restaurant that is surrounded by trees was a fantastic find. We have had two dinners and breakfast in the last 24 hours. The four different traditional khmer dinner dishes, including grill eggplant dish, traditional amok, kymer pork curry, and chaa dow with chicken, were all fresh, flavorful, delicious, or served in generous amounts. It was refreshing and cold. Our kelapa breakfast was also excellent, with the cappuccinos the best weve had in either the united states or elsewhere. Service was prompt, polite, undeniably friendly. Pricing was extremely affordable. What more could you ask for? I wish we had gotten ets like this at home in our neighborhood.
