The suite was decorated well but needs a lot of maintenance and deep cleaning. Windows were absolutely disgusting from the outside, they have not been cleaned for more than 2 years. The closet in the hallway was stuffed with a broken desk so basically unusable. No luggage stand, I had to make do. Lots of chips, scratches, unclean surfaces, carpet was very dirty, fridge and stove front were not cleaned after the previous renters, cupboard doors hanging down from hinges. Bathroom sink extremely small, nowhere to put toiletries unless you have a hanging bag, no hooks to hang towels to dry, just the towel rack, no full size mirror. Suite is located very close to the elevators so expect a lot of noise. What threw me off was the checkin process - the communication from the host was quick and easy, however even if they asked me at least 3 times about the checkin time and I always confirmed I would arrive at 4pm per their checkin policy, the suite was not ready untill 5:23pm. Having been travelling since 4:30am, this extra time that I was planning to use for relaxation was taken away from me. When I voiced a concern with the host and asked for a refund they said they would give me a late checkout which I did not need - i checked out shortly after 10am. It was an OK experience but I would not book again. On the positive side they allowed me to drop my luggage at 3:19pm in the suite after their lockbox did not open and I had to wait for about half an hour for their housekeeper to come

Very disappointing. So many issues with this property. At first, communication was good but we did not receive the check-in email 48 hours ahead as promised so I was scrambling after we landed in Toronto. Got that sorted only to find he had given me the wrong lock box code...so now I'm standing at the side of the road stressed and tired, trying to get the correct code. As soon as we opened the door to the unit the smell of cigarette smoke hit us like a wall. I NEVER book smoking rooms and this was not disclosed in the ad. The sliding doors to the patio were filthy, clearly had not been cleaned in many months, and the deck was also filthy, with a ground out cigarette butt on it. Also a cigarette burn on the bathroom counter. Clearly a lot of smoking has gone on in there. The second bed area is not private, which is fine but the mattress is also saggy and uncomfortable. I can only conclude that there are a lot of fake reviews on this property because it sounded much better than it actually is. There is no excuse for having a dirty suite and people should be told if smoking has been allowed. Avoid!
