Incredible in every way. Safe, quiet, uncredible staff, close by to everything

Quiet and clean hotel. Fabulous staff. Close by to many types of public transit. Close to the vibrant downtown. Been staying here for years, will always choose this hotel.

Staff wouldn"t agree to extend stay for 1 additional night at initial rate of $ 126, wanted to charge a rate of $ 160 per night for extended stay in the same room. I found alternate accomodations nearby, good quality, at only $ 110 per night . Signature Inn is not helping business if they complicate a simple additional overnight extension to a much higher cost ...

I booked this place last min because it was one of the more reasonable priced places to stay. Let’s just say it’s comparable to a motel. It’s one star at best. The tv and toilet were not working so they did come and fix those things pretty fast but there is no elevator so we were stuck to having a room on the first floor and couldn’t open the curtain because the sidewalk to a busy road was literally right outside our window. The floor was dirty so we wore our crocs the whole time even to shower. They gave us limited towels. I mean if you are looking for a place to literally just sleep and go then ok but this place does not know the meaning of any type of luxury at allllll. The heating worked pretty good but honestly I would not come back to this place .

I was here for 6 nights, as I was in Hamilton for the Juno Awards. The thing I didn't like was that we had to phone the hotel to let us inside the front door, as it was locked at ALL TIMES. Sometimes, there will be someone at the front counter and they would see us and let us in. The room was ok. Nice and comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi. They had NO towels, and they take a while to give you towels. Plus, my toilet doesn't work properly sometimes. It needs to be fully repaired. There was NO maid or cleaning service, so I had a lot of garbage piling up by the end of my stay. They also take a while to get you new toilet paper as well. There's no food to eat in the hotel and there's no vending machines either! However, the only place to eat nearby is the Tim Hortons which is a 5min walk from the hotel. Overall, it was an OK stay. The staff were nice and did the best they could.

Location was great! Walking distance to great coffee (The Hub) restaurants and cool streets. The size of the room was great, and I got a reasonable rate especially for Junos weekend. The electronic keypad was a nice feature, but feels a little unsecure as the buttons showed the most commonly typed number. The mattress was a littke old but more distressing was the age of the sheets, they hit that need to replace stage. It is an older building but the room had nice new floors and a semi recent paint job. Considering what I paid I'm not pissed off, but they really should invest in new sheets.

his hotel is a dump. The lobby looks sketchy, there is no one at the front desk at night or even early morning. Therefore, you have to call a phone number and hope they answer and buzz you in. My room was dirty; curtains were stained, sheets had holes, there is no reading lamp next to the bed (just a hole in thr wall where the electrical connections were at some point). There is one very small towel in the bathroom. I asked for more towels and nothing happened for hours. Then I went to the front desk, asked for more towel and was given, reluctantly, one more very small towel. There was no shampoo or conditioner, no coffee, and not even plastic cups to drink water. Also, the sign outside says "Free deluxe continental breakfast". Is that a joke? There is no breakfast, or even coffee, at all.

Relatively clean and quiet as far as overpriced hotels go. Staff was friendly. The negatives were that I had no TV remote and the water never actually got warm enough to shower comfortably. Plus there were no washclothes, only two very old towels. If you're charging $150 for an $85 hotel, at least have good towels and hot water.

We booked this property based on proximity to an event we were attending & the photos on the RBC Rewards website. Upon arrival at the hotel, we quickly realized we had been misled. The sign for the hotel outside is missing panels & in disrepair. Upon entry into the lobby, there was no branding or indication that we were in the right place. The lobby had a couple of wooden chairs and a single counter to check in - luckily there was someone standing there so we knew where to go. After we checked in, we went to the room. The hallway to the room was dirty & there was someone's bicycle next to the ice machine. Upon entry to the room, the entire place smelt like an old ashtray. The photos on the website were clearly very old or AI. The bed linens had dark, visible stains on them & the lining of the box spring was visibly coming off the bottom of the bed. There were crumbs on the desk, the tub had some sort of goo that hadn't been cleaned out, & the mirrors were smudged. Some of the laminate cabinets were rotting away under neath the fridge. We checked out within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff seemed surprised at our response & said they would process the refund of our security deposit later. We asked them to do it right away. A receipt was not provided & we were told to check our banking account summary instead. Luckily we were in a financial position to book a different hotel, but we still lost out on money with this booking as it could not be refunded. Do not recommend.

Do not stay at this hotel until the renovations are done - we had no shower. No towels asked 3 times. No tv remote, door was not very secure. No one at the front desk. Once you left hotel you couldn’t get back in without clerk there who didn’t answer the number to call. I couldn’t even checkout as no one was around. Also from security perspective the area is not the greatest and the lights in the parking lot were not working. the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly but for $200 a night this hotel this was hotel something I would never pay more than $80 for a room like this ever. I would take this off the offering at hotel.com until they finish renovations. This is a 1-star hotel at best

This place is disgusting. Stayed for 1 night because Around the Bay and wish we had walked out. Room smelled like smoke as soon as we walked in, cigarette burns on the sheets and duvets. Missing pillowcases on the beds, garbage left behind the peeling furniture. Table had greasy hand prints. Never anyone at the desk to help or answer the phone. Hotel is in a super sketchy area of Hamilton as well. Stay away.

I didn't realise just how rough the place was. The lobby smelled like hash. Pubic hair on the dryer, the door lock didnt really work, the safety backup bar was loose. Weird stains in the bed. I gave up and found another place. I didn't want scabies or to wake up in the tub without my kidneys. The guy at the counter was pleasant and seemed understanding when I told him I was leaving. 250 bucks gone and headache at the end of long day for nothing.

The room was in a state of extreme disrepair. There were tears and stains in the chairs and bedding - absolutely disgusting. The faucet in the bathroom was broken and the sink looked like someone had poured coffee or a brown substance on it and it hadn't been cleaned by housekeeping. There was also dirty linens/towels in the room - this was unacceptable and the couple I'd booked this for had to leave the same night. They didn't end up staying because the place was so disgusting and dirty.
