Close to the bell tower and the metro station. Room was clean and renovated. I don't have any complaints regarding anything in the hotel. Check-in was quite fast receptionist don't know English very well but they are using translator app so there wasn't any problems regarding the language barriers.

Location, Location and Location, the hotel is located at the central of the city and near to the major commercial area, restaurant and two traditional places, Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Hotel room is bright and comfortable. There is a large TV in the room. The bath and toilet area is separated. You have to bring your own exchange plug if you come from the US. The free laundry is very convenient to customers who stay more than 2 days. The hotel provides all laundry materials. The gym is well organized and have enough space for two walking machines and dumbbell. The breakfast is containing with local cursing and American food. There are 8 floors in the hotel, but no room is in the first floor. The check in desk is located at the second floor. If you have enough budget, and if you go to Xi'an at 1st time, this hotel is a wise choice.

Clean room, only hoped the carpet surrounding the bed was clean. Looked stained, needs washing. Breakfast was decent. Free washer& dryer was awesome! Would have liked to borrow a steamer to keep in the room for daily use, only had 1 large steamer which is located in the laundry room. But otherwise, a good stay. Rooms are pretty soundproof.

This was an excellent stay. While I was initially concerned because I couldn't get in contact with a representative before arrival to let them know about our late flight time, it wasn't a problem as the desk upstairs was staffed even at 2AM. Better yet, when we had an issue with our Alipay for the cab and the driver couldn't make change (and wouldn't accept extra payment) the desk was able to break a larger bill so we could get him on his way. Check-in did take a bit of time, I think the girls working nights aren't as used to getting foreigners written up. But they were nice and got us set. The room was spacious and the bed, while fairly hard, was comfortable. The pillows are pretty flat and the bidet had too many buttons with no pictures or English and my phone didn't like to translate it well. Breakfast was good and some items varied each day which was nice. I wouldn't spend the regular price, but on Expedia I chose the included option and that was worth it. Also if you need ice they have cups available at the bar, just ask the front desk. I don't know if the restaurant serves regular meals besides the breakfast but there isn't a lack of great options right outside!

had a truly excellent stay at novotel at the bell tower with my family. a five-star experience i'd recommend to anyone. location: perfect. just a 2-minute walk to the metro, and walking distance from the tourist district, especially the gorgeous bell tower. plenty of food and drink options nearby, including chagee and luckin coffee. rooms: very clean and tastefully decorated. amenities were great. beds were super comfy. soundproofing could've been better — we did hear some noise from the corridor — but not a deal-breaker. service: the staff were a standout. when my parents ran into trouble with the didi app, the hotel staff kindly helped advise them. they also accidentally checked out early due to an erroneous train booking, and were able to check back in without incident. they were extremely impressed with the service, and i'm very thankful. from the outside the building isn't the prettiest, but don't judge a book and all that. overall, had a wonderful, super value for money stay. we'll definitely return to novotel if we're ever back in xi'an.

FREE self-service LAUNDRY and FREE drinks (non-alcoholic) in the fridge in the room. Also I never new I needed this but when you put in your card for the room power, the curtains automatically open (there's curtain open and close buttons next to your bed). There's tea time, though I only went once which is still nice. GREAT location. Will recommend.
