We had booked a Grand Tower Horizon Club Premier Bund view room but when we arrived we were given a free upgrade to a suite room, which had a fantastic view of the Bund and the Oriental Pearl. The hotel has old world charm and feel very luxurious - we have stayed a several Shangri La Hotels and this was definitely one of the best. The room was quiet so it felt like a very peaceful haven - good for relaxing in after two weeks travelling around China. We didn't use any of the restaurants or facilities, but we did have access to the Horizon Lounge on the 29th floor. The lounge was great - very good service from the staff with good options for breakfast. We also went for Afternoon tea and they also had a good selection of food and drinks in the evening from 5:30-7:30pm. If we return to Shanghai, I would definitely stay at the Shangri-La Pudong again.

Loved our stay at the Shangri-La Pudong. Easy to get to from the airport. Lots of shopping and train choices. Friendly staff and service always excellent. Stayed in a Club Room this time and loved the staff and the amenities. Special thanks to AnnaLisa in the Club Lounge for exceptional service! Also managed to get to the spa/pool area and was v impressed. Would love to return!

Magnificent ultra modern hotel in a superb location. The hotel is spotless and our suite was magnificent. Lots of things are within walking distance and across the rad is one of the most expensive but superb high end shopping centers I have ever seen. Name the high end brand and they are there. The club lounge is fantastic with a wonderful selection of food and alcoholic beverages. The staff in the club lounge were fantastic. Very helpful, friendly, polite and happy to be of service.
