On a hot May Day, we decided to stop for lunch unplanned. We were lost and did not have a map, I am aware! The staff kindly provided us with a complimentary large tourist map and told us where we were compared to other attractive tourist attractions. A wonderful sixmonth new ownership and good luck!. A very good, plenty of bread. The set menu was excellent organic tomatoes and mozzarella salad, followed by excellently prepared merle hake with citrus risotto and artichoke. We did have a half bottle of smooth local champagne and some gammy wine to accompany it. Even though the dessert was less impressive, we still enjoyed the coffee with a delectable free bitterly crunchy chocolate ball. $40 for 2 including tip.

At 55. 00 euros per night for bed and breakfast it was truly value for money and perfect hostel couldn't have been better. We need to stay for 3 nights and took the local bus into agency for some sightseeing. We felt very safe while biking up the hill towards moth in the pouring rain. Monica, the owner, was there to meet us and make us feel so welcome. The accommodation was on the top floor with a beautiful view through the casement window to the valley. Evening meals were served with a flavour of Reunion Island.

There was a similar lady at breakfast as well. This is what I mean. We were very impressed, and everyone was very kind. The appetizers were nice for me to eat, and there was no problem with changing things on the menu. We just spent one day here and had dinner in the restaurant. The submerge lodging is pretty simple but clean and comfortable. There are no gimmicks, free toiletries, or fancy bits, just nice, spotless white towels, sheets, and bedding. Dispensers with soap and excellent sanitary ware are all you need for a night. However, the dining experience was altogether different. We were able to be seated early and secured a table before leaving England. They knew I was gluten-free and everything went well. We knew we had made a wise decision right away as the wine is exceptional and fairly cheap.

We called the local tourist office and booked us into this. It didn't open until 6.30 pm, so we cycled up a steep hill to the submerged station and sat and waited. The people who run it are employed by the local community as it is their own. They are from the Reunion Islands and are very friendly. The room was pleasant, contemporary, bright and airy, with a walk-in shower. The Chinese dinner we had on the terrace was a memorable evening! A great find!.
