This is a very nice pleasant stay in the small town of Dourgne. The food is excellent, and everything was very good.

What a pleasure it is to eat at a restaurant with great service and food that is locally sourced and cooked with imagination and great presentation. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a good time, these are serious restaurateurs with fun and knowledge.

Weve been here before over the years at lunchtime and have always been pleased with the food and serviceHow often can you say the squid was delicious and really mean it? Theyre added to the menu. By the way this time we went with our son who was visiting from outoftown and he had the beef on the menu and said it was great. The set lunch price for weekdays is 17 euros and we splurged by ordering freshly sauteed fois gras for 15 euros more one order shared by the three of us. We were also happy that the staff in charge remembered us even though it had been a long time. Its approximately an hour drive from our home.

This is a typical restaurant in a small village in the middle of nowhere. Excellent food and service, delicious products, local specialties, this is a great place. Don't hesitate to book a table because the restaurant is often full. No wonder why!

We ended up here for lunch and dinner! I adored the menu, which is perhaps French with a modern twist. At lunch my husband had the dorado with beurre blanc, which was excellent. rice and vegetables that were very tasty. I had to try the is de veau, which is no longer used on the menu, especially in France. As soon as I stirred anything, it was only served in a heated copper pan. For a change, the plates were heated with fried potatoes instead of frites! Just in season, Swiss chard and a few other vegetables. They serve the typical traditional desserts. I had the creme caramel and my husband had a great apple cake. Crusade aux pommes. I started the angular, baby eels, for dinner, which is baby eels. In olive oil, they were a little hard for my husband to chew, but they were very delicious and spicy. The chef loves pepper. Then I had grilled scallops that had butter blanco sauce and my husband had latin de canard with potato layers on the bottom, duck confit, and another layer.. I don't remember, but he loved it. Dessert was sorbet and blancmange. We had a little pitcher of wine because we don't drink very much, but it was decent. The food was richer than

We came here on the recommendation of another restaurant that there were no tables left that night! The menu was a la carte day.. There was a wide choice between eels, foie gras, razor fish, and salad. We had eels and foie gras both excellent. The main course selection was again quite varied with different fish and meats. We had duck latin and beef. Again very good. Desserts were an appetizing mix of French classics. I had strawberry and cherry gratin with vanilla ice cream, a warm dish. Surprising but delicious. Service was nice and at the right pace. The restaurant is in a quiet village near the black mountain as it's name suggests. If you are looking for really good French cuisine without the pretentiousness that sometimes accompany it. Look no further! A lovely dinner. We didn't stay at the hotel, so no comment on that.

Un hôtel restaurant idéalement placé pour une excursion touristique. Un service excellent chargé de prévenance. Des literies de qualité pour le sommeil réparateur. Un restaurant subtil et délicieux. La terrasse de ce dernier est à prendre en priorité.
