We reserved one of the better rooms on the top floor, abendrot. It was a spacious, quiet room with a view of the station and the nearby road. The hotel itself is clean and functional, and they provide a fair breakfast. The evening supper was, however, terrible. We complained and were informed that nobody else complained, so it was presumably our taste in food! The hotel has free parking and an unimpressive indoor pool and sauna. The little cake and candle that was awaiting us at our breakfast table were a thoughtful touch since it was my wifes birthday. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the titis, but that is nothing to write home about. The Hotel Kesslermuhe hotel is only a 15-minute drive away, as I said in my review, I like to compare chalk to cheese.

I only spent one night there with my girlfriend. We greatly enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the delightful service at the front desk, in the restaurant, and the small but well-organized spa area. We received a wonderful massage and could spend the entire day of checkout in the spa. The absence of an outside or inside whirlpool and the constant closing of the main entryway to the spa are both issues. When it was supposed to be peaceful, French-speaking individuals were too loud in this tranquil setting. The complimentary bottle of water in the room was not available given the costly cost. The surrounding chinese shops around the lake all sell the same tourist goods. The area lacks local culture and lovely coffee shops. I liked the delicious and well-presented dinner, the service desk, and the after-dinner snack. A quiet setting with lots of nature activities.

We're presently staying here on a short notice. The room is roomy and well-appointed. Unlike other hotels, the shower is powerful. It turned out to be the best decision when we took the chance to take semi-board. Only the usual pizza and croissant places offer decent dining. Breakfast has everything. Dinner should be mentioned, of course. They make guests feel warm and welcoming each time they change. Nothing seems to restore the thermonuclear to equilibrium. My wife cooked special vegan meals in the kitchen. This makes a big difference. I appreciate it. Sincere and strongly endorse hotel bare, you will not be let down, I guarantee it. Looking forward to the next few days. Oh, and did I mention that you should check out Hochschwarzwald Karate? Enjoy.

We read the May 2018 trip advisor review and arrived ready to use the dictionary to see that the staff spoke very good English. The receptionist showed us the steps to use the room key and where the pool and spa were, and we were also offered a 5 course dinner for a fee. We thought it was worth it after looking at the prices for other nearby restaurants. We are so happy we tried it out. I am very picky, so I can say the meal was excellent, of a high standard, and very beautifully presented. We started with cured fish and salad, followed by a carrot and ginger soup, the main course was a white fish, followed by a salad course that was help yourself from the buffet. The last course was a choice of cheese or desert, we opted for cheese which was help yourself from the buffet. All the food was of excellent quality. Breakfast was continental, help yourself with lots of hot and cold options, including perfectly soft boiled eggs. The waiting staff spoke perfect English and was very friendly. The room was very spacious and comfortable and I would highly recommend staying here. The main promenade is also well situated, only a 5-minute walk away, and the lake promenade is nearby. There is plenty of parking and the hotel offers the free Black Forest travelcard.

You're in their guest's world right from the moment you enter. Warm welcome from the staff, wonderful meals, and lovely rooms. They make sure you do as little of your thinking as possible, making it seem like they can read your mind with ease. I have rarely met a team who is interested, attentive, happy, and professional but not a school of hotel trash. Thank you for the relaxing 2 days, which included a wonderful massage and wellness facility.
