My 2nd stay within a week was better than the 1st. Got a room at a higher level and facing the other side of the building. Don't expect a great view from anywhere since the hotel is surrounded by highrises. The location is the draw for this hotel as it is very convenient to many tourist spots, close to x2 MTR stations (different lines) and bus stations. This room was larger (not by much) but it's ok as I was staying solo. Should be adequate for x2 people as you should be out most of the time exploring anyways. The room is clean, comfy bed and a small desk for a laptop which is handy. There is bottled water, tea and slippers that are complimentary. The toothpaste is a little weird as it is a pill that you chew and insert your toothbrush into your mouth to swish around. Not a big deal as I brought my own toothpaste and brush. I skipped the b/f this time around as I had more time to get b/f from so many establishments around the area. If you "must" get the b/f there, it's not bad but I would strongly encourage anyone to explore the local restaurants and take in the b/f there. It's cheaper, more local and so many more choices. The wall was quite thin in this new room as I can hear slight mumbling from the next room while I was on the bed. Not a big deal for me but may be for some. Staff is very polite and helpful. No issues with check-in or out as it was quick since there wasn't a tour group there. Getting a taxi could be a challenge as it is not on a large street.

Always stay here, great position to get around HK easily, rooms are basic but clean, breakfast unless it’s included in price i wouldn’t bother, there’ are so many great restaurants serving dim sum but if you are looking for a more traditional breakfast then mc donald’s is at the bottom of the street

I stayed at Stanford Hotel for 4 nights over the Lunar New Year. The staff were awesome, the room was amazing and the location was fantastic! I loved my stay! The cleaning lady was exceptionally sweet, she would greet me every morning as I went out before asking to clean the room for me. Absolutely a worthwhile stay! The rooms are extremely comfortable! When I come back to Hong Kong, I will be booking this hotel again.
